We have stopped here a few times while going through Jasper...they are usually busy. For the last 3 weeks or more their coffee machine has not been working. I had my 3 girls, myself and my father in law with me on the last trip. I ordered the 2 oldest a meal, the youngest a happy meal, my father in law 2 mcchickens and I wanted bacon cheese burger but as a meal. Then asked for a iced coffee where I was told yet again...the machine was down. Oh and also a large drink for my F.I.L. I was told the total was $26 and some change. I got up to the window to pay and the boy at the register tells me my total I hand it to him and he proceeds to take my receipt wad it up and throw it away. I usually get my receipt so if anything is missing I can show them. My youngest is fussing at the oldest 2 at this time he hands me my change and I was distracted. So I just moved up and got our food. That was on a Thursday. We ended up going out of town on a small family getaway. We of courae had mcdonalds again..lol. We ordered the same thing except I was not hungry. But with all 3 girls, my F.I.L. and my husband getting a meal the total was $23 and some change....so it had me thinking how was oura so much more in jasper then in Gatlinburg!? Bc they charge a bit more for a 4 piece nugget by its self...in TN. So I am not sure if he did ring up the coffee I ordered but of course I didnt get bc the machine is down. Or he just told me my total but added a few dollars to it to pocket. Bc every one ordered the same thing they did before. My husband did get a quarter pounder meal while in TN...I did not eat. So same amount of ppl sane food except one where it waa probably morr expensive and it was still less then when we ordered in jasper! My point is if you go there I suggest asking for your receipt no matter what. So you can make sure you are not being ripped off or charged for something they do not even have. Read moreOrdered in drive through , employee kept repeating my order incorrectly, I finally just drove around and he continued to repeat the wrong order after correcting him twice,he finally said he put the order in correctly. Got to the window got the food, pulled over into ingles parking lot to check the order and it was still wrong. Had a crispy chicken biscuit that was right on the order that turned out to be way under cooked (raw in center) and had a horrible smell. I also had ordered a mcchicken sandwich which didn't make it into the order the first go around. We went back in and told them what had happened and they handed me a bag with some items in it , checked the contents of the bag and there was 2 chicken biscuits and no sign of the mcchicken sandwich.....i was so disgusted we just left. Will never go back there again. We have been going there off and on for 13 years and it has been going down hill quickly over the last few years. Good luck to anyone who dares eat there.

Well against my better judgement we decided to give the Jasper (Pickens county) Georgia MacDonald's one last chance to redeem themselves and as expected a HUGE fail once again...we went inside and stood there waiting to order for 5 minutes , employees looking at us the whole time. Ok I let that slide ,we ordered then waited 10 minutes on the food. We sit down and eat then what appears to be one of the employees boyfriend's or off duty co-worker come in and starts chatting and next thing I hear is a loud "F*CK YOU" with laughter come from one of the female employees...I have my two children with me 8&11, cannot believe the how this establishment has went to the dogs.....this used to be one of the best MacDonald's around. I grew up coming here with my grandparents on our way the Cherokee NC all the time and never in a 1000 years would have imagined this place would turn out this way. Read moreI have lived in Jasper my whole life and I also worked at this McDonalds in high school. I went through there at about 3:00pm yesterday 10/9/23. It wasn’t busy but they were so slow it was unreal there were a few cars in front of me. My child was screaming in the back seat and I’m starving. But I thought maybe the food would be fresh and it would be worth it since we had to wait. Usually the wait is bc of getting fresh fries. I was very wrong!!! The fries tasted like they were 3 hours old and cold and my burger was like slop I asked to add Mayo to my double cheeseburger not drench it in mayo and they left off the onions which I wanted. I have worked at a few different fast food restaurants and I was a server for over 10 years. I know service and this isn’t it. I’ve been through there many times and it’s been the same thing every time. Also the inside looks terrible it’s so dark and dreary it’s depressing. Ever since the remodel this location has been awful. When I worked at McDonalds there was a correct way to assemble a burger a correct way to put everything in the bag so the fries do not fall over etc. I guess no one cares about their business or job. The owner sure doesn’t care because this already has a 3 star rating and nothing has been done to fix it!!! If you can’t get your employees together to service the customers accordingly just sell the business bc this line of work isn’t for you!!!
What you don’t see in the picture is the amount of ketchup and mayo on the outside of the top bun of my burger I had to use a fry to scrape it off so I could even hold it. Which was still gross bc now I have it on my fingers trying to eat it. Ya know I thought that was the purpose of a bun to keep meat and condiments inside and keep your hands clean? Guess not!!!
