Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Jasper

Update: since my last review I just recently ordered online again with a specific time for the order to be delivered. I placed my order at 10:15 a.m. to be delivered at Noon. Around 12:00 I received a text saying my order would be delivered at 12:15. It arrived at 12:18. And it was already cooled enough for the toddlers that I was feeding to eat it without waiting for it to cool down, but too I had to heat mine up. Still not pleased with them.

Ordered online, said it would take at least 45 minutes to receive. It took an hour. Got notification that my order was out for delivery, made it to my house 42 minutes later and it was barely lukewarm. I did call before it was delivered to see where it was, the girl that answered wasn't to concerned, just said the driver had 3 deliveries before mine. When I said it wasn't going to be hot when it got here, she said it will be because they put them in the warming bags, then asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. I declined but said I would be calling back if my food wasn't hot, because there was no way it would be after riding around for over 40 minutes. Food got here, I asked the driver before he took it out of the bag if it was still hot, he said yes. Handed it to me and yup barely lukewarm so I did call and spoke with the manager. He again told me that the driver had 3 deliveries before mine. He offered to remake and send my food back out or give it to me free next time. I chose free next time. Think I will go pick it up next time so I can have hot food without having to put it in...

When I heard there was a Pizza Hut Classic in Jasper, GA I was extremely excited to pay a visit.

However, to my disappointment there was nothing “classic” about it. Just a regular run down storefront.

When you walk in there isn’t a hostess - actually the person at the drive thru window yelled at us to “have a seat anywhere” …. And when our waitress finally came - she had ear pods on and only looked down, never really gave eye contact and she lacked general customer service.

I was hoping for the nostalgic feeling of being at a Pizza Hut as when I was. Kid.

The glass hanging light fixtures, the PAC-man game and even a jukebox. But NONE of it was there - not sure why this is considered a Classic Hut - needless to say I was super disappointed with my visit.

May I add that they don’t really have any specials or combo meal deals like advertised for Take Out or Pick up orders - we spend nearly $50 for 2 lrg pizzas - which is OUTRAGEOUS if you ask me.

I wanted to put no stars. The place was a mess,the employees were lazy, and just wanted to sit around and not do anything. When they could have been cleaning the place up. Food was ok.........our waitress could have been better with the people skills. She rather sit with her husband and his friend ,when she could have been cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor. Well all the employees could have been. One man all he wanted to do is have his ear buds in and walk around the store. P.s......when talking about a customer he needs to make sure he's in the back of the store. So I asked for the Supervisor number ,none of the employees had a clue. So I asked is the store corporate or franchise. The girl replied franchise ,then I asked so what's the owners number. Still no answer. So I guess I'll just come on here and rant. I'm just surprised that this pizza hut is still open. Needs a new manager...
