Angelas Tacos — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Came here Sunday morning around 10am to give it a try especially with all the reviews. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a cheese omelette with the option of pancakes or toast but I never got asked and i forgot to mention it. So they gave me toast. I had also asked for cafe de olla that is being promoted on the window and on the menu but i was told they didn’t have it for the day. So i ended up ordering water instead. Someone else ordered taco dinner and another person ordered quesabirrias. The quality of the food was ok, not much flavor and the tortillas aren’t handmade like someone said in a review and the rice was a little dry or maybe older, but i wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon. Especially for the time they’ve been open they should have had honest reviews from customers. This place is definitely overrated. Please consider reevaluating the dishes and drinks. Its a really cute place but lacks taste and food quality. Also wondered if the people that rated 5/5 came to the same place i find it...

Came on the weekend to try their pastor, I thought they mentioned before that it was roasted on the spit on the weekend, but didn’t see anything roasting inside unfortunately. Not sure when they have fresh pastor that they shave. Food was good, but didn’t have much flavor. I had to salt both tacos. Portion sizes are solid though, definitely a good amount of meat.
