El Nuevo Puerto Mariscos & Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

So decided to check out some of the reviews before trying it out myself..Here is my verdict, Although I agree with a previous review about the place not looking like much from the outside unfortunately it was the same experience for me on the inside, I'm not talking about looks but about the food... Agreeing with a few other reviews I read about the food not really having flavor 1 steak taco 1 Al Pastor taco I tried the meat on its own first and it was surprisingly pretty bland which was disappointing so I said ok maybe with the salsa it will be better. The green sauce I had was bad, had a funky flavor and it was sour pretty gross, red salsa was better but only in spice level and the taste was below mediocre. Now keep in mind that It was my first time here and I decided to eat here because of the reviews, I'm leaving this review due to my own experience, I had 2 tacos and Horchata who knows maybe they aren't good at tacos but everything else might good. Either way No I would never compare this place with El Milagro in Pilsen because there is No Comparison Im talking to you other review leaver, you know who you are. This is just my honest review of my experience there. The service was good, Food not so much can be improved! Chips can improve too as well as The complementary ceviche? that was given with the chips that needs work, and the horchata is really milky not watery but hey maybe people like it like that but for me its not up to par and ive definitely had worse horchata. In conclusion read the reviews man just read them and Pay attention to how old they are, All the reviews are from months and even 2+ years ago maybe this place was good back then and if they were theyve lost...
