Cash only. Which I didn't know so didn't have any cash on me. (No sign, no nothing) So I had to look for ATM all around gas station/ liquar store and more. (They had ATM but out if service and no cash back) I found one place call Harvestime Food near there and used their ATM to get some cash. I came back to pay for the meal and gave her small amount of tip (didn't want to give her tip regularly) but She asked more tip. (Why does all Korean Restaurants do that? Seriously). And food wasn't best. I ordered two Sul Long Tang and one Soo Yuk(briscket and tongue). Soo Yuk was same as Sul Long Tang with less soup and more meat. I thought the meat would be more thicker (which normally does) but it was same as meats in Sul Long Tang. No reason to order separate dish. Will I return? I don't think so. I know better place called To Sok Chon. Food basically same but only difference is Han Bat is beef, To Sok Chon is pork. Better service, better taste, better food. Price To Sok Chon is about a dollar or two more expensive but reasonable. You guys should go there and try Soon Dae Gook Bob or...
Read moreBeen going to this spot for years for their Seolleongtang (ox bone soup). For me I love the soup since its creamier than other spots and its a hole in the wall joint which makes a great spot to eat in and get out. Whenever I get the large bowl, I am very satisfied after consuming everything (speaking as a 240 lb dude) so portions are great with cost that is pretty spot on. Also, I saw on a review that they complained about brown water? thats barley tea and you can get it hot or iced.
A few things to note: its CASH ONLY. unless you have a card that waives atm fees, make sure to bring $20 per person at minimum. I think the spot is managed by an older couple so don't expect Michelin star service when you come. And since the cook is the husband, the waitress is the wife, and they hire someone to help with cleaning, expect service to run slow if its busy.
PRO TIP: bring someone that speaks Korean. You'll notice that your service will improve by like 1000% if you speak korean or have a korean speaker...

If that doesnât make you just get up in bed, then I donât know what else. This place is the first thing that come to my mind. The food is as simple at can be, the focus is Korean Beef Soup. The banchan are just kimchi and radish kimchi, but once that stone bowl come to your table. Remember to add salt and scallions into it and enjoy. If you have a big appetite like I am, get a stone plate of SooYook. I guarantee you, youâll be on your way home with a full belly. But whatâs make this place special to me, itâs remind me of coming home to my grandparents. Just hoping they made a big pot of stew of sort and everyone in the family would gather to eat, to talk and to enjoy the moment.Thatâs the beauty, savor every bits and sips to its last.
