This is my second time coming here and Iām a little disappointed. First time I booked a facial along with a scalp treatment plus massage š and she forgot to do the hot oil treatment for my scalp only gave me a massage but to her defense she only charged 20$ out of the 50$ it cost ā¦. Still not a good first time experience⦠today was the second time and I booked a Lena classic $85 dollar pedicure that was supposed to be for 1 hour long and my pedicure ended in 35 minutes (they fail to mention that the hour includes what they consider drying time of 20 minutes) and mentions some services listed under that pedicure that werenāt performed such as dry skin repair or heel repair.. as a mom who barely gets to get away this hour was what I was looking forward to so much to relax and getaway (they definitely need to be more specific and detailed on their website) ā¦there was barely any scrub put on or exfoliating massage. Plus the polish job wasnāt good it was a little sloppy and not fully painted on my whole nail. Very disappointing especially cause I wanted to love this place since there isnāt much non toxic local salon businesses around. I love the holistic approach to self care but unfortunately they always disappoint and do not deliver as promised. For $85 dollars the pedicure was less then basic and definitely not worth it to me. I would not recommend anyone spending their hard earned money in this economy on services that donāt fully perform and deliver what they should for something so expensive! I would recommend you purchasing yourself a good holistic foot scrub along with some non toxic foot oil and just booking at a regular nail salon and giving them your products to use including your own polish and paying less then half of 85 with so much more care and services performed.. the one good thing I must say is that the people there are really kind and lovely once...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to Lena Rose a few times. The first experience was good, so I stopped by to inquire about a manicure for my upcoming wedding.
I spoke with āthe lead nail artistā; shared photos, picked out a shape and design together by trying them on, and even chose colors. Everything seemed to be in place for my manicure and I expected a relatively smooth experience from here.
A week later I arrived for my appointment and was checked in by the Lead Nail Artist I originally spoke to, but she had no memory of our prior discussion. Soon after, a second nail artist came out visibly distressed and in a hurry.
This artist told me they couldnāt do the design, the shape, or colors I had picked during my consultation, but she would ācome up with somethingā; I was told they only had 2 lengths and shapes of nail (very different from my consultation); the artist was rushing me to choose, noticeably agitated, and trying to persuade me into getting nails I did not want. It felt very much like a bait-and-switch. At this point, I began to feel very uncomfortable. I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere for such a big occasion; I apologized, excused myself, and stepped out of the stressful and unwelcoming situation. My main concern was that I could not reasonably sit in the negativity and pressure for 90+ minutes before such a special weekend. They ensured to charge my card on file for $160 moments after leaving.
I went down the street to Revamp and they gave me a beautiful manicure with no appointment, no pushback, no rush ā and most importantly ZERO stress. I was done in an hour with perfect nails and we were happily en route to our destination.
I really wanted to like Lena Rose but unfortunately I will not be going back due to this very...
