Very hit or miss, especially compared to other Gorilla Sushi locations. Ordered food tonight and it never showed up. When I called the location after an hour and a half (original wait time was 50-60 min), I was told I would get a call back after they contacted doordash, even though I ordered through the website, not Doordash. They couldn't contact the driver (they should absolutely have the driver's contact in case of this exact situation), and couldn't help me with anything other than refunding my food. At this point, the food was 2 hours late, and all I wanted was to eat. It was around this time that the lady helping me started laughing, either at me or at the situation, which was not appreciated. At the end of it all, I got no help and no food.
It should also be worth mentioning that I am only a ten minute drive from this location. By no means should it take that long, even on a busy night, for a driver to deliver the food. Will not be ordering from the Western...
Read moreThe sushi is always good here. I think the service , while not bad, could take a simple step to avoid some simple confusion and not waste time. The simple solution is with ordering. when someone is ordering, before they order simple start by saying, "I'm ready for you order, just a reminder, there is a $15 minimum for credit card orders.". This way, you don't waste your time taking the order the customer doesn't waste there time telling you what the want. A very simple fix. And who does that anyway? You can't tell me that no sale is better than an order under $15. But, such is life. Again, great sushi, never had an issue with it or actually using a card until the other day. I went in to pick up an order I called in and took them 15 minutes after my quoted time for the food to be ready. Could have been okay with that, except then I’m finally told there’s a $15 minimum order to pay with credit card. She was about to let me walk out for free with my order in the first place. I was nice enough to remind them I hadn’t paid. Then the audacity to tell me I had to add $2 to meet the minimum. So I added a water.
