A coworker raved about this restaurant's Carne Asada Fries, so I decided to give them a try. However, I chose Carne en su jugo instead. We are enthusiasts of this dish. To our dismay, our meal was disappointing as the serving portions were disproportionate, with my husband receiving less food, and the beans overshadowed the meat and juice. The dish also lacked adequate juice, giving it the appearance of Carne in salsa verde. Our appetites were negatively affected. I felt bad for my husband, but I was too embarrassed to complain. The waitress noticed our disappointment and offered avocado, which would not have significantly improved our experience. She failed to ask about our satisfaction even after we paid. I came for dinner with a friend and we both had las enchiladas rojas estilo jalisco with horchata (we picked this because the menu flavors are inspired by Jalisco and we wanted authentic food). Everything was incredible!!! The owners are so kind, the service is excellent, there are beautiful murals and art, and the entire restaurant is so clean. We were having such a good time that we stayed a bit past closing and when we realized and went to pay the check, the owner told us: no se apuren, siempre serán bienvenidas acá en casa 🥺🥰 Will definitely be back again!

Update: The quesabirria was amazing -- me sentí renová! No se la pierdan los fines de semana y con excelente servicio...
