Taco Burrito King — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Terrible... This used to be FAVORITE place to come, I would come everyday sometimes even twice a day until today. The manager, Luisa, was rude, i ordered a super nacho with everything on the side (my grandma likes to warm her food before she eats it), and a burrito with a tostada. SHe had an attitude about that but I ignored it. When it was ready I was going to ask for more salsa but she cut me off to say I had two red and two green and that's all I was getting. Not to mention she forgot my tostada and I had to remind her before walking out of the door. When I got home there was nothing on the side, just cheese, meat, and a tablespoon of tomatoes (literally!). I called the store only to be yelled at, told that she didn't do anything wrong and I walked out with the food so it was my fault. She argued with me before just hanging up, so I went up there and got my money back and she continued to speak disrespectfully and not give the receipt back. So sad, even during a pandemic when we need everyone to help out and support the small businesses, she didn't value my dollars or my business.NEVER WILL I EVER...

Arrived 5/25/25 at 8:43. I usually eat at the one near IRVING PARK but since this is close to my job, and I forgot breakfast, I thought I would stop and support. I waited in my car until after 9 and the door wasn’t opened. I got out of my car and walked up to the door, the people inside walked away like they didn’t see me, although we made eye contact several times. I also called while standing in front of the door and my call was ignored. I waited until 9:15 to see what would happen. The cutlery man came and was walking in the rear I asked him to find out why the establishment isn’t opened like the internet and the door sign suggests, and he said he would. Waited 6 more minutes and got ignored. These are not good people. I was hungry and trying to be a patron but apparently my money was...

I was a bit skeptical eating from here but decided to take a chance. I was skeptical because I read a few bad reviews but decided to go in and judge for myself. To my surprise, I was ultimately satisfied with the food. We ordered a carne asada super burrito plate and an al pastor burrito bowl. Both were very tasty and flavorful. The price is reasonable compared to other restaurants. The portions were generous and plentiful. I also ordered a large horchata, and it was ok. I have had better at other places. It wasn't horrible as I would order the horchata again. Only next time I will get a smaller size since I didn't finish the large one I bought today. Which I normally finish a large and sometimes buy two. With this being said, I would come back and try another...
