McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Jeffersonville

New, modern and clean. Hard working middle aged female employee cleaning off tables. Kuddos to her. There is a Wait in line. Nice young male cashier took our order. He was courteous and efficient. Good quality food. Dining room was clean. Reasonable amount of patrons considering it was dinner time. First visit to this location. I’m sure we will return.

We have returned a few times since previous review. consistently good quality and staff on point.

update: been several times to this location. food quality always good and consistent. Went during workday lunch. Observed a lot of folks eating from area employers. This restaurant is welcomed for this area. A good meal.

good lunch. nice and clean. good fresh ingredients. i highly recommend. cashiers and dining room staff are friendly and polite. during the corona,they are keeping tables spaced apart and staff watchful, keeping tables sanitized.

update update update: multiple duplicate charges on my debit card for the same meal from this location. i think it was the bank’s fault. don’t use your debit card here. another patron said this also happened to them here. update October 2023: went for dine in in week night early dinner. the young lady at the was register cordial and efficient. she later brought out food. she was terrific and an asset to the restaurant. dining room has tables and booths, and a good atmosphere for...

So I went to McAlister's yesterday and I am new to the area my second time at this location. and there was no one in there and me and my friend. Ordered, my order was first. He ordered next and he got his order. And I still hadn't received mine. I said something to the lady. and said that they were really busy and apparently my order got pushed back. And then I asked to talk to a manager. They sent another girl over. She was trying to say that they were really busy. And that's the reason why my order got pushed back and I said, but I ordered first and there was no one here. When we got here, my friend ordered after me and he got his meal And I still hadn't received mine and so they gave me to another manager which came out and wanted to know. What was going on? I told him basically. I wanted to refund since they couldn't do their job. And he sent out another manager which kept trying to say that they were busy. They had a lot of online orders. And all I gotta say is I was there right then. And they couldn't service me so I asked for a refund if you can. Serve me you don't deserve my money. And I can't help to believe that it's because I was transgender. So in an update, I talked to the district manager and she has made everything right and I am very happy with...

Honestly, from all that I hear of this place I don't know it hasn't gotten shut down yet. To toxic managers treating their employees like trash, managers not turning on the climate controls for customers; Speaking of which how is that one lady who had a heat stroke in there doing? The constant amount of toxic workplace environment, managers talking down to everyone that works there, the constant micro-managing, the high turnover rate, and many many other reasons why I honestly think Mcalisters needs a lawsuit. The money already isn't worth how they treat you. Now I come to find out that they've instrumented a two-minute restroom break policy, that includes for number two. The people who run this place should be ashamed. How can you be so vile. So unlikable. So hate filled to the brim. Absolutely garbage place to work.
