Deli Plus — Restaurant in Jersey City

I recently visited Deli Plus and was extremely disappointed with the overpriced food. I paid a whopping $17.08 for a tiny chicken avocado wrap, which is an absolute rip-off. The portion size was laughably small for the price, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and taken advantage of. I expected better value and quality for the amount I paid. For a more economical yet superior dining experience, I emphatically suggest trying Lievito Pizza and its neighbor, Banana King, conveniently located just a block away. Lievito serves delectable fare until 2 A.M., while Banana King operates around the clock. Their menu boasts a variety of scrumptious wraps and sandwiches, all priced at a fraction of the cost. - Beware of late-night scams, at Deli Pus, where an older Indian gentleman may attempt to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Personally, I prioritize quality over cost when it comes to dining, but detest any attempt at deception and will not patronize establishments engaging in such practices again. UPDATE: FRIDAY, JANUARY 5, 2024, 9:59PM: The only change I noticed at this Deli Plus was the Holiday decorations. Aside from that, I noticed no other changes. I look forward to having the opportunity to have a full meal as well as stay a little longer, during my next visit.

UPDATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 18, 2023, 6:56PM: This was my first time back at Deli Plus since before covid19. I was happy to see the new-to-me tables; they are this honey brown colored wooden tables. Of course, the coffee remains delicious and the customer service remains excellent.

My only complaint was that the few employees who were wearing face masks were wearing them incorrectly. A face mask, to be most effective, needs to cover nose AND mouth. Covering only one, or wearing it under one's chin shall do NOTHING to stop the spread of covid19.

The coffee is consistently very good. And the new signage brightens up the place and makes it...

I ordered today through Uber Eats. A vege omelette sandwich with cheese, it was Super. I ordered French Fries which the very kind Gentleman on the cash counter ( the night staff) called and informed me that it was sold out so he was sending Home fries instead to which I happily agreed. Their home fries I have had on numerous occasions before BUT THIS TIME of My Lord, DISGUSTING! The oil used was STALE...you could Smell it and Taste it. Their quality seems to be falling....well I guess soon customers will fall out as well.
