Toasted Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Jersey City

There was an issue with my order and I went back to resolve it. They started screaming at me and said it was my fault that I didn’t order what I had said with the add ons. However I know I ordered correctly because I was charged extra for the add ons. They continued to get more combative and when I said I’d return the sandwiches for a refund the owners got angrier and screamed “GET OUT OF MY STORE AND NEVER COME BACK”. I agreed to never return (because why would I want to) and they took my sandwiches back but refused to give me a refund until one of the owners finally gave in. The entire time the refund was being processed the other owner continuously screamed and me and my girlfriend and then proceeded to take a photo of my girlfriend without her consent. When she asked him to deleted it, he lied and said he didn’t when he very clearly did. We ended up leaving because they were a waste of time but the owners cursed us out multiple times and screamed in our face. How do you run a business like this? They deserve to...

I live near this business and haven’t been back in a while. Let me just preface this by saying I am Jewish and love bagels, I know a good bagel and I know how to dress a bagel properly. I have been disappointed by most local jersey city bagel establishments so I took some time off from them and solely purchased bagels from my classic hometown Jewish style bagel deli. Anyway- I came back k to toasted bagels today for my go-to order everything bagel toasted with cream cheese lox onion and tomato. It was delicious. The bagel was soft and toasted just enough. They put the cream cheese on BOTH sides of the bagel before putting on the lox and onion and tomato (this is key) then they offered capers which I will always say yes to. absolutely the most abhorant deli in jersey city. one star is one too many! rude and attitudenal employees. everyone that works here has a chip on their shoulder. lazy and i am doing you a favor is the mantra. the deli itself is disgustingly dirty. flys hover over the pastery and prep area. the drink coolers are room temp and the coffee is horrible. this is suppose to be a bagel place....hence the name. the bagels are horrible. they have tge texture of leather and never seem fresh or warm. do yourself a favor and stay away. i noticed they are extremely rude to the Port and...
