Jersey Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Jersey City

So I usually give fair reviews at the very least, however this review will only be based on the service. First impression is everything! I know this is a fairly new establishment and I've been looking forward to trying their pizza with my daughter. On this particular night, I wanted to help a homeless person grab a bite to eat and I seen this pizza shop across the street. The moment I walked in the guy sitting at the counter on his laptop said in a very stern and rude manner we are closed now, so you can go ahead 💀🤯.... so first of all, you should watch how you talk to people in today's world, secondly, I was literally trying to patronize your restaurant as well as do a good deed, and thirdly if your restaurant is closed then you should secure your doors and lock them. Anyway I was lowkey mad and asked him if he was good, but I decided to just brush it off and leave a review for the rude service. This is my favorite pizza in the area by a lot. The crust is crispy on the bottom but light and fluffy on the top, which is a really hard balance to strike. The sauce is sweet, and all of the toppings are really high quality.

I’ve had individual slices as well as full pies to order, both of which were fantastic. I also had the pepperoni pinwheel which blew my mind. The everything seasoning on the outside is a really nice touch.

The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the chicken roll. It’s perfectly fine but everything else I’ve had I’d consider a standout dish. For breaded chicken, you’d be better off at venti’s down the street

Finally, the owner, Lev, is always out front greeting guests and clearly takes pride in the place in the way that makes it feel like a great neighborhood spot.
