Another incredible restaurant by Domodomo Hospitality. I recently visited the soft opening of the newly opened BRBQ, and it was an amazing experience. The interior design was beautiful, and the food was absolutely outstanding. I loved the concept of being able to enjoy both brunch and barbecue in one place. The drink and cocktail menu was thoughtfully curated to complement the food, which made the experience even better. The standout dishes for me were the signature Galbi, branzino, pan con tomate, and pan con ricotta. Especially in the barbecue dishes, the smoky flavor really came through, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. As a Jersey City resident, I’m so grateful to have a place like this open in the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Finally a good korean bbq in journal square! The steak is wonderful, but the oyster & clam in the soup were not very fresh 😭 Still very good restaurant regardless!

Looking for date night vibe? Looking for something different with flavors? BRBQ is a top notch recently debuted restaurant. My partner and I had the pleasure of dining here and it completely changed our mindset on Korean Soul Food. I was the first person to try their hidden menu item called Donkatsu which is breaded pork chops topped with magic sauce that makes it tastier. I did not have any expectations going in but going out I can say BRBQ have set the bar high. I recommend highly this restaurant. Much appreciation to the BRBQ crew and CapitalOne/Resy for the recommendation!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, everything about this restaurant was exceptional. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful – stunning views, perfect lighting, and great music that set the vibe just right. Our server, Jet-Li, was the highlight of the night. His service was nothing short of outstanding – professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You could tell he takes pride in his work, and it made all the difference. The restaurant itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a clean, welcoming feel that made us feel right at home. Now for the food – WOW. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The meat was especially tender and juicy, and each bite was better than the last. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into every dish. The drinks were smooth and well-balanced, the kind that sneak up on you in the best way. And don’t even get me started on dessert – absolutely amazing. The perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal. If you're looking for a top-tier dining experience with great views, a warm environment, delicious food, and outstanding service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back – and asking for...

I’ve been here twice and I can confidently say I won’t be going back, both times were a disappointment.

The restaurant is overpriced and underwhelming. The serving sizes are comically small, the food is overly salty, and the drinks were a ripoff.

The staff seemed very new and unprepared. For instance, on both occasions, we didn’t get our drinks until we were almost done with our dinner, and the pours were half the size they normally should be. I asked the waiter if there was a mistake and he got extremely defensive and said all their drinks are measured, which made me realize skimping off the drinks is likely a common cost saving practice here. The wine pours were also very inconsistent which is a sign of an untrained bartender.

I’m suspicious of all the 5-star reviews and I wonder if they were bought or done by friends. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. You can get a better experience and better pricing if you walk 15 minutes east toward Grove Street or exchange place. Or you can head 10 minutes west and get a delicious meal that’s fairly priced...

Lucky to try this new spot by the DomoDomo/Konban/Domoto/Ondo team. Nice blend of Korean inspired dishes with live wood fire cooking techniques. Highball was refreshing and all the food ordered was delicious with a slight hint of smoke. Highly recommend this spot and can’t wait to come back. Spanish-inspired tomato bread was garlicky, herby, and fresh with a hint of char on the bread. house-made sausage was tasty and had a nice coarse ground texture and the glass noodles were a nice nod to Korean sundae skillet rolls were pillowy and soft and tasty, the compound is a lovely addition but the sherry vinegar helps balance all the richness spicy corn noodles was refreshing , slight sweet and spicy and the thinly sliced shiso leaves added a great herby flavor spicy pork bulgogi served taco style reminds me of al pastor tacos thick cut marinated LA galbi with lettuce and condiments to make ssam wraps and a refreshing soybean stew to help cleanse your palate for...
