My family and I visited on a busy Sunday afternoon. Even though the place was packed, the owner was super attentive and quickly cleaned a table to seat us. Great first impression on the service side!
Weāre big fans of rotisserie chicken, so we had high hopes. We ordered a variety of items to try a little of everything: ⢠1/4 Rotisserie Chicken with Fries ⢠Pollito Chicken Sandwich with Fries ⢠Two Churrasco Sandwiches with Black Beans and Sweet Plantains
Hereās what we thought: ⢠1/4 Chicken: Honestly disappointing. The skin and meat were both really bland, no real flavor. Wouldnāt order again. (Rating: 1/5) ⢠Pollito Chicken Sandwich: Very big sandwich, but it wasnāt pulled chicken like the menu said ā it was a big piece of chicken inside a bun with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The crispy skin inside added great flavor though and saved it. (Rating: 3/5) ⢠Churrasco Sandwich: It was okay. I asked for the beef well done, but it came out more medium. However, the house dressing they gave with it was really good and helped a lot. (Rating: 3/5) ⢠Fries: Pretty bland and unsalted. (Rating: 2/5) ⢠Black Beans: Delicious, full of flavor ā definitely a highlight. (Rating: 5/5) ⢠Sweet Plantains: Very good and a generous portion! (Rating: 5/5)
Other notes: ⢠Food presentation was nice and everything looked fresh. (4/5) ⢠Staff was very friendly and helpful. (5/5) ⢠Even though it was busy, the food came out fast. (5/5) ⢠Portion sizes were great ā you definitely get your moneyās worth. (5/5)
Overall, the sides like the black beans and plantains were excellent, but the main dishes didnāt live up to expectations, especially the rotisserie chicken. Itās worth checking out if youāre curious, but my family and I probably...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll start off by saying the food was great, if your time and money arenāt terribly important to you, give it a try. We arrived with only couple of tables sat down in the restaurant and no one in line, once the employee finished taking an order over the phone, we placed our order, a sandwich and two burritos, with a fries and drink for each entree, the total came out to $60~ pricey but in line with the rest of the vintage area. Around 10-15 minutes later a gentleman that came in after us got his meal, no biggie, makes sense his would be out first as he just got the one item, but when he finished his meal before we got ours we asked an employee about our food, she just shrugged and said the kitchen was busy, and again 15 minutes later, after an hour we finally asked for a refund, and we were told that the food would be coming any second, it took another 5 minutes for two of our three items to come out, and another 5 for the third to come out without the side, which took another 3 or so minutes. I understand that orders are occasionally lost in the kitchen, my problem is with that fact that no attempt was made to make things right even after asking for...

We got the full chicken with three sides. They let us sample the homemade drinks and we enjoyed the hibiscus lemonade the most. My kids are pretty picky but they LOVED the chicken with the mild sauce! I couldnāt get enough of the red/hot sauce. The sauces are great! The flavor combination with the chicken is second to none. The chicken is tender, cooked through perfectly, and cut into perfect sections for both adults and children. I literally had to make myself stop eating.
We got the Greek salad. GREAT! Including the sauce that came with it.
The fried rice side is wildly delicious! It is unique, and similar to what is freshly made at a hibachi restaurant for triple the price. I got the fires for my kids and they loved em...
