Today (6/23/21) around late lunch time between 1pm – 2pm my family and I visited this location.
We were greeted with very nice polite and friendly staff, which was very refreshing this day and age, as we really appreciated this being our first time, they were informative about items listed on the menu… for the most part. The food had nice flavor that didn’t disappoint and we enjoyed dinning there. However, our experience was anything but pleasant.
We ordered chicken and noodles for my son who is Autistic and HIGHLY allergic to Peanuts/ALL Nuts. Typically we ask if anything is cooked with this allergen in any form, but because it was not posted anywhere on the menu or in plain view, nor was it on the menu on as an option sauce or similar, we did not ask and trusted there weren’t any hazardous ingredients in what we were ordering. After a few bites we had to basically rush out of the restaurant to seek medical attention as my son began to cry and tell us his throat felt as if it was closing up. We asked if y’all cook anything with Peanut products or anything as such, the staff had to ask the cook and we were told “yes, peanut oil” and it confirmed the trigger of my sons severe reaction.
I would like to request/make a suggestion as a precaution in the future. As a concerned mother who was trying not to panic so that the staff weren’t too scared as my son was going into Anaphylactic shock. It would be beneficial for your restaurant and your guest for a posting to be somewhere on the menu, website, and/or in view of the customer, that you indeed cook with and have peanut oil in your facility. Not only did we have to leave suddenly and seek help, we spent money on something that was very life threating and could have killed my son had we not acted promptly.
A nut allergy is a very common allergy in both children and adults. I thank God that I had help with me at the time to help my son and myself stay calm in the moment
It disheartens me and is frustrating that there where no warning signs, this could have gone very badly. Though the food was good and the service was great, unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant until/unless the changes are made to inform guest of these unsafe risk they could be taking by consuming your food. It took a lot but my son is stable now and recovering. To avoid any other incidents like what we had to experience, I am making posting as a...

So I've tried this spot several times via DoorDash. My first order was because I had been craving some wings and after getting burnt by Hooters. I was feeling adventurous willing to give a random spot a try to get my fix. I came across Chicmac. After "vetting" them via Google, I took the plunge. They passed the test and no joke, I literally ordered from them the next three days in a row because the hospital food was TRASH!
WHAT I'VE ORDERED: Large noodles: their noodle plain with the sauce is the bomb!!! Wings: I've tried the lemon pepper wings, Honey Garlic, Garlic pepper, Korean Fried Wings honey Gochujang. The Lemon pepper and the Koren Fried Wings honey Gochujang are my fav. However, the Korean Wings are bready and fatty and seem to be mondo wings, lol. I also appreciate that I haven't found an accessive amount of hair on my chicken I HATE hairy chicken!!! P.S. The hot wings with dry rub (I.e Lemon pepper, garlic pepper, etc.) are not heavy with seasoning, so you might have to ask for extra if you want that banging flavorful coating, with a little bite. The KBBQ Bowl + 6 wings + Drink Combo: I've gotten this several times in different ways, KBBQ chicken and fried rice, Shrimp, and noodles. I love the Kimchi that they add to the bowls! In general so much flavor.
THE GOOD: I love the portion sizes. They give you a great amount of food for the price I always have leftovers. Fresh. The food I've gotten has always been fresh and serving temperature.
THE BAD: one order out of like a million I was cheated on my shrimp, it comes with 6, they gave me 4. only other issue was one time the wings, weren't winging like normal. They were not bad but they weren't bussin like normal. However, both of these issues seemed to be one off's and this place is pretty consistent.
THE DISCLAIMER: I also have not been to this establishment yet, but plan on pulling up soon, to catch the real vibes and atmosphere at the location. I'll be sure to come and update you...

The prices were significantly higher and they had removed certain items from the menu notably the shrimp po-boy and certain combos. Due to this, I don't think I'll be returning. It was nice while it lasted. This place is the bomb.com. If i were to judge, solely based off the menu, it seems to be a Korean-Cajun fusion. My only complaint is that they're 30 minutes away from my apartment complex.
The food is super yummy, and filling, for the most part. Their rice and protein bowls are delicious, especially if you get the fried rice base. The shrimp po boy knocked my mouth off, and further impressed me with the fluffy, crispy shrimp, and the portions.
Unfortunately, the wings are hit or miss, IMO. I've yet to try them all, but the Honey Houstatlanta BBQ and Honey Cajun were amazing, but the Honey Garlic Pepper was so bad I couldn't even finish all 6 wings.
The people behind the counter are always friendly and patient with people new to their restaurant. You're typically going to wait 15-20 minutes for your food, which may be a con for some, but it only shows that your order is hot and fresh.
Lastly, they have your typical assortment of Coca Cola fountain drinks, but they also have these deliciois punch/lemonade dispensers. Out of the three flavors, Strawberry Bubblegum, Blue Raspberry, and Lemonade, I HIGHLY recommend the Blue Raspberry. Thank me later.
TLDR: Great food, different concept, nice cashiers, and nicely sized portions. Bowls and poboys are fire, wings can be meh, and the drinks are yummy. Highly...
