All you can eat rice NOT sushi . Warning to people thinking about going there … Charged us an extra $20 because my daughter left 3 pieces of avocado roll and I could not finish a roll that was not to my taste because it was drowning in sweet sauce. The amount of rice on each roll was ridiculous. I have friends that came last night and they had the same amount left and didn’t get charged. Interesting ….. I paid because my daughter was with me and I didn’t want to make a scene but I find it interesting they are that desperate that they would rather turn away customers when they are so quiet. Word spreads even faster when local people are taken advantage of this badly. Wouldn’t be surprised if they find this place shuts down very soon.
In response to the owner's message: if you feel 3 pieces of sushi out of an over rice stuffed roll is "a lot of leftover food" than you obviously can't afford to offer an AYCE option in the first place. Not to mention asking my daughter if she is sure she can't eat it all so we won't get charged. Unbelievable. it would have actually been cheaper for me to pay for the rolls which we ate although "not allowed" according to the rude staff member since we chose AYCE at the beginning. To clarify we were charged the AYCE price IN ADDITON to the FULL price of the 2 unfinished rolls (total of 6 pieces which is less than half of a roll) and a pile of rice that I scraped off my overly riced roll. Believe me that the business loss by word of mouth will be much more than the $20...
Read moreI ordered from here on DoorDash and the food quality for the shrimp and filet hibachi were both completely unacceptable. I am now sick from eating mushy shrimp with the very disturbing consistency of mashed potatoes. At first I thought I must have picked up something with my shrimp and I spit it out, confused. But then I bit into another and it was the same thing. The filet tasted very old (you know the taste of beef that should’ve went in the trash but won’t kill you) and was certainly not up to par with the $20 price tag, not even a $5 price tag. I’m so disappointed because the sushi and vegetable croquettes we ordered were great but getting sick from my entree trumped the experience of anything else. Hoping management will see this and run quality control to keep their customers safe. Luckily my kids hadn’t eaten yet and I took out their shrimp and they ate just rice with chicken (which seemed fine). The restaurant it’s self clearly has great reviews so I was very surprised to have...
Read moreI’ve been eating here for over three years and My total bill is usually over $35 and the food is usually pretty decent. Last Saturday we all went there for a family dinner. We were the only guests there so we should’ve known better. The food was the worst that I’ve ever tasted from them. My bulgohi was chewy enough for my dog to enjoy and served at room temperature. I told the waitress, she took it back, worked some microwave magic and it was then warm but still chewy, even more so. I only ate the rice mostly. All the other meals tasted like it was cooked at lunch and reheated with an serving of soy sauce poured over. When she asked how it was I said it was worse than ever and tasted like bad Chinese food. I asked her to take the bulgogi off the bill since I couldn’t eat it. She came back and said her boss said NO and he DOES NOT speak...
