1st time at this place with 2 others. Very busy place and has a small dining area. Many people were in line to buy carnitas but it went fast. Waitress took our order, didn't come back with the drinks so I grabbed them myself. Food came out pretty quickly and it was like WARM if that. The rice was a small small portion. The beans were dry and a bit cold-colder than my carnitas. My mom ordered a torta with beans, they forgot to add the beans. I was told the total at the register not given a bill. I used my card and requested a receipt. A few days later I looked at the receipt, there was a $1.99 fee on there for miscellaneous. I thought.. 🤔 was that a charge for the beans they forgot?! And no it wasn't a credit card fee. Total was $62 which was average for 3 people. Right before we left, we got a piece of flan...there was a piece of hair in it! 🤢 (I promise I swore I saw an eyelash in my carnita platter but thought maybe it was a piece of meat that comes from the carnitas so i didn't mention it) I did call the place and let them know about the hair in the flan. They stated the dessert is prepared there, they buy it already made. Umm. Ok that still doesn't forgive the hair. She did offer an additional piece at no charge..#nothanks this place doesn't serve alcohol either. So it was a 1 and done for me....
Read moreI have now given this place three separate chances to make somewhat edible food and all I have to say is, I miss Tony's more and more everyday!. If you can't make a steak burrito only steak cheese and sour cream without making your customer wait in your lobby for over 20 minutes and then having them come back for you to remake it, I'm not sure why you're even open. Probably the easiest order you've had since you've opened and you can't even make that right. Even after remaking it there was still no sour cream on it the steak was burnt to a crisp and every single sauce you guys gave me was tasteless. I can't understand how Tony leaves and this is the quality of food that takes its place?!. You can find better food in a gas station...
Read moreI was excited to try their chicharrones but when I got there, flies were on them. Mind you, they were in enclosed glass. Meanwhile the carnitas were out in the open so who knows if flies were on them at some point. We bought carnitas, tamales, and pozole. The carnitas were only ok, tamales were disgusting and soggy/wet, and the pozole was flavorless. Also, the lid of the pozole container popped off in the car ride home and spilled in the bag they gave. Should have been saran wrapped for this reason. Would never go back , especially because we paid a lot for nothing...
