The decor Is not bad, but definately could use some updating. Last time I was there I had grabbed a pole on one of the tables while waiting to be helped....and it was so wobbly I nearly fell over from the shock of it being so loose. The wait staff is a hit or miss. Some days they are friendly, some days they are crabby, they are definitely not there to please you since it's an all you can eat. Though you can order off the menu, they just assume everyone is ordering the buffet and treat you like cheap bums. Unless you spend money and order off the menu...then they treat you nicer! The wait staff is often difficult to understand & have a hard time understanding you. The food....sits around until someone eats it. If there's Only two customers...well you're taking your chances. Cus it's probably been sitting for awhile. Best time to go is when you see cars in the lot because it means they are busy and the food trays are being rotated. The food is actually ok...at best. Though avoid seafood, because I've actually tasted a few bad oysters here before....on several different trips...so I've made a firm decision to not go back myself. Bad oysters can be very deadly. And as someone else pointed out, complaining to the manager does absolutely no good...I've actually been yelled at when I tried to calmly tell them an oyster was not good. They said i didn't know what flavor was....having cooked for the American armed forces in Germany I think I do...and I definitely know what a bad oyster tastes like after...
Read moreReviewing as not a Local. It is quite comedic that this establishment that would rather embellish in FAKE REVIEWS than to invest in its own food quality.
I simply don't understand why the locals put up with this standard of Quality.
The food was Stale and cheap, this is clearly microwaved foods and cheap foods from the Dollar General Next door.
On top of that we have to eat the food I serve my self over Styrofoam cups and plates alongside plastic utensils.
I wouldn't be surprised if this establishment is simply a money laundering scheme.
They can't afford to provide REAL utensils, REAL Food, and REAL Reviews.
If I get food poisoning ill keep you guys updated. If any of yall are curious they don't display their Food inspection Certificates, and you can clearly see a trace of BLACK MOLD leading out of the cold freezer and into the kitchen.
This place only deserves 2 stars. 1 For actually having an area to eat my good and another for having the lights on.
Honestly I could make a better attempt at a Chinese Buffet in my Driveway with my Husky as the Waiter.

Read moreAs I read in the Joliet Patch, Golden Corral buffet is open for business. So I drove from my place to the restaurant and was greeted with an empty parking lot and the lights off. "What do I do next?" I asked myself as I often do when I talk to myself, aaand that's a whole 'nother story in and of itself. I left the empty parking lot and cruised on down over to super China Buffet. And as I found out for myself, Super China Buffet is NOW open for business. As I entered, I was greeted at the door by the owner and paid around 15 dollars to get access to the all you can eat buffet, unlimited drinks and soft serve ice cream. During my visit, the restaurant was clean and not too many customers were there. Self-serve was done using plasticware and Styrofoam plates and cups to limit exposure. Onto the review, I give New Super China Buffet four stars for cleanliness and a variety of options to eat. I will deduct one star for the sterile environment and the quality of food was average. So until next time this is Robbie the Review Guy wishing you and yours Good eats...
