Checkers — Restaurant in Jonesboro

My friend ordered from DoorDash but the weather was bad so it said the only option was pickup. I went to this location and told them my order, the employee at the window “Andrew” or “Ollie” said they didn’t have it and to check the location. I provided screenshots of the receipt and the location of the order.the employee said to call DoorDash because they don’t have the ticket. My friend called DoorDash to aware them of the situation, DoorDash said that checkers wasn’t answering the phone, I went inside to speak to someone and Andrew stated out loud “oh this is your job” referring to the manager I stood and waited patiently but no one came. my friend just had to do a refund which will take 5-7 business days. I went through the drive thru and ordered their food again. This time I asked for names because I felt this experience was very unprofessional. Andrew was very arrogant with his replies he even told me he wouldn’t give me his manager’s name and to move because he had a line. TL;DR: Good for what it is. Try the Funnel Cake Fries.

This was my first Checkers and I gave it a low bar to pass. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and laid back, and the food was mostly fresh (a couple pieces of chicken tasted like they'd been sitting out a bit).

The burgers are comparable to Steak'n'Shake (texture, flavor of the meat). I had a Baconzilla and to my dismay the bacon was not crispy (I won't eat soft bacon). That said, there was a lot of bacon on top.

We all liked the chicken bites and the fries. The 1/2 lb box was enough to feed everyone in the back seat. The honey mustard was really good with the chicken.

On recommendation, we tried the Funnel Cake Fries... Wow! This could be the reason I come back. They are delicious. I even went back to finish them after they were cold (still good).

The gas station attached is a bit worse for wear and has a strange smell. There also appear to be issues with people waiting for a greyhound bus to the point that they have had to put up signs. Drive thru is...

This had been my first trip to a Checkers in years and will most likely be my last after this experience .I will go back to buying their fries at the grocery store and making them myself at home. Checkers/Rallys is famous for their perfectly crispy perfectly seasoned fries coast to coast. When I saw the Checkers in Jonesboro, Arkansas, I made my husband stop because the memories of their perfect fries made my mouth water. When I actually received my food ( chicken strips and fries) I was severely disappointed. Both the chicken and fries tasted like it had been "redropped" to heat it up. The fries were hard and packed flavor. I can buy the exact same fries that they use in the restaurant at the grocery store with better results making them at home. This location needs to be trained on what fresh food is and what is and is not appropriate to serve to...
