Dinned in. Our order wasnt correct, ordered combo 1 chicken, which is 2 chicken enchiladas and 1 taco, got 3 beef tacos and 2 beef enchiladas?
Ate half a enchilada anyway but couldnt finish, beef tasted like old beans. Also ordered an el carte chimichanga, a whole dinner plate was brought instead.
When we told the manager he raised his voice, brought over a menu, and insisted on us pointing out what our order was supposed to be. Unlike the manager, our server though was polite, just didn't understand.
I asked if we could just have our ticket and leave but he insisted he wasn't going to charge us extra and would bring out a replacement for the combo, and all we wanted at that point was to leave. We didnt even want the replacement, just to go eat somewhere else.
We arent eating the Togo food he brought us after yelling at us either.. Who would eat food from someone whos clearly very angry??
When we finally checked out we still had the tacos and dinner chimichanga on our ticket (even though we didn't order them), and the cashier only removed the 2 extra tacos.
All in all, if your order is incorrect expect the manager to aggressively make you point it out and then not fix your ticket anyway. Very professional. After they wouldnt bring us our ticket we honestly should have just left. If you have anxiety dont come here.
Dont recommend, I used to eat here tons years ago. First time eating here in a while, wont come back. Old management was...
Read moreOmg let me start out by saying I could not have went to this restaurant on a better day. I usually go here because I love the ambiance anyways but how could you not go to a Mexican style restaurant on Cinco DE Mayo. This was a no brainer and the staff did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in the establishment I was greeted with open arms and festive attire and decorations. Only to be told it was an hour wait. Hearing the music playing in the background I knew it was worth the wait because I felt the bass vibrate through my chest enticing my legs to move to the beat. I politely exited the building as my number would be called shortly. After a true hour wait my party of 12 joined the others inside for food and drinks. Each individual order different entrées and every single one of them was finger licking good. I knew the food was good when Individuals at my table started to hum while they ate. Of course you know I had to order a house margarita on the rock and it was so delicious that 1 drink turned into 4. Next thing I know they played the electric slide and the place went nuts. Its as if this was what this place needed at this exact moment. As I gazed acrossed the floor all I could see was people smiling and dancing in unison. I never had so much fun at a restaurant of this statue before. I will be back and keep up the...
Read moreDo NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go to KANDELA Mexican Restaurant (or make sure you pay with cash). They charged my credit card 2 times for the same amount and another time with a $5 tip added, which that transaction was legit. I took my receipt and a printout of my bank statement as proof to the restaurant and they told me to come back in 30 minutes to talk to the manager because he was on his 2 hour break. When I went back the manager told me to come back the next day because another manager had to take care of it and specifically stated this other manager would have everything settled and have my refund ready for me and he took a copy of the receipt and bank statement. Went back, yes.. the 3rd time, tonight to get my refund and the manager tells me that he can’t/won’t give me my money back and that I need to call his credit card machine company with him. I showed him the proofs again and he still did not want to give me a refund. I ended up leaving with no refund and $80 short bc they stole my money. I will not be going back there and strongly suggest that you...
