Rocky's Pizza — Restaurant in Jonesborough

I can't express enough, my extreme disappointment tonight. We were told it would be 30 to 40 minutes which is not unusual especially for a Friday night. When we got there to pickup our food we waited another 15 minutes for it to be brought out. We have less than a 5 minute drive home. When we got home, our cheese bread was COLD, I'm not talking luke warm, it was seriously COLD. We also ordered "hot" wings. Well that's laughable considering the wings were nothing more than chicken drumettes and wings that had been ran through the oven with a side if hot sauce they had to be dipped in. In the past I had been a huge fan of theirs...especially their cheese bread. There was no one that could come close to it. There slogan "it's worth the dough" was true. The quantity and more so the QUALITY could not be matched. Nothing about tonight's meal was worth the $27.00 we spent. While this may not seem extravagant to some, dining out is a luxury we rarely afford ourselves and to spend this on food that we did not and will not eat is something we can't afford to do. It is hard for me to understand how the food we had tonight came from the same people/restaurant we knew and loved. I can't see us going back if this is what has become of our...

I usually don't post reviews, but I have enjoyed Rocky's Pizza for many years and have recently seen a change in the service. That being said, the food was as good as always, no complaints there. The issue I saw last evening was the staff. When my husband and I walked into the restaurant there was a lady in front of us picking up an order. She had apparently placed the order to go and it was not ready when she arrived. Instead of the staff apologizing, they were arguing with her. Stating "well, you were told on the phone it would be 30 minute." The lady answered by stating "and I've waiting here longer than that. I can't wait any longer." To which the younger of the two staff members left, came back with a pizza and slammed it on the counter without even a "thank you". The customer left pretty upset, understandably. But what was worse is after she left instead of just letting it go, the two staff members proceeded to discuss the matter openly for all in the restaurant to hear. All while we attempted to order our food. It made me very uncomfortable. This is not good customer service. No amount of good food can make up for...

Rocky’s pizza is very good only if you receive the pizza your order correctly. To many times our pizza is wrong and by the time you get it home from pick up it’s too late other than to eat what you didn’t order or throw away. I have called in regarding our orders and an apology is all I receive. Once they did give a free pizza for their mistake and that I will thank them for their customer service on that order. I called the Jonesborough store today and spoke with a manager to whom I will not name to discuss my issues and I felt this person was very condescending with her comments. The only thing I ask was to take the time and make the pizza correct or for the person answering the phone take the order correctly. I don’t guess the manager without naming this person can’t take constructive criticism. I’m going to continue to order their pizza, however we will have to trust it’s correct and then verify it’s correct. Old saying Trust but Verify. As stated to me You are the only person that has called in about their pizza..........again trust but verify.........how could I. I would give a 5 star rating when...
