Beware: do not do business with this company. They are the absolute worst. They have billing issues every single month, don’t return phone calls, don’t even read their emails and if they do, they never respond. They constantly lose staff members and “managers”. It’s been a complete wreck of a situation since day one when they told me I’d have immediate access to my unit so I had people drive all the way to TN from NC (weeks after paying full price for my unit) to help me move and the gate code they gave me DID NOT WORK. As I mentioned before- no one answers the phone or returns calls so the trip for my help was for nothing. It was days later before I had access. Then they harassed me on vacation over getting a document electronically signed, reaching our every morning basically demanding I sign it immediately. For the last three months (technically four months now) my bill has been jacked up and it’s near impossible to get it fixed. I’m so tired of dealing with this place and their lack of customer service and attempts to scam more money. I work a lot and need help moving stuff so that is the only reason my things haven’t been moved...
Read moreThey gave me a unit with someone else’s stuff to start with, so they had to give me another unit and they only had units more expensive but they gave me a unit anyway and said I can have it for the same price as the other one. I filled the unit halfway and the next day they said I had a bill due and cut my access to the gate and said I had to pay the remaining balance I owed when I did not owe any balance at all and I had just paid my first month the previous day. They obviously do not have good communication as I was told my rate will not go up since they had to move me to another unit. I called the next day and talked to another guy about it and he said he will take care of it all and he told me that everything was good to go. I go to the gate that night and I still do not have access and they are still asking for a balance due when I already have paid my first month and it had only been 4 days now. Very frustrating. Read moreExcellent experience with Storage Source one in Jonesborough! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The unit was very clean, easy to access, and very secure. It is always well lit, has a gate, and security cameras. I never had to worry about anything in my unit. Having a climate controlled storage unit with external access was great! Units I have rented in the past had climate controlled but you had to go inside the building to access your unit.
