Taco Bell — Restaurant in Jonesborough

I have lived here all my life and when I go to this Taco Bell, I have always used the drive through. It's been about a year or so since I have had anything from this location. I was with a friend on this visit and they wanted to go in to eat. We ordered and while my friend was filling our drinks, I went to choose a place for us to sit and every single table and chairs were dirty. I went to the napkin dispensaries to grab some so I could wipe off the table and chairs but there weren't any. I asked at the counter for some and if I could get a rag to clean with and the woman handed me some and said that she would be right out to clean the table. She did come right out and asked me which table we were going to sit at and quickly wiped it down but didn't do a very good job on the seats, I used the napkins to finish the job. While we were waiting for our food, I visited the restroom to wash my hands and as I went past the door leading into the kitchen, I slipped on the floor and almost fell. It was slick, like grease was on it. That's when I took a good look at the cleanliness of the place. The floors were absolutely nasty! I looked into the kitchen from the counter where you order from and the floor was dirty and had several piles of swept up dirt and trash here and there. Those floors haven't been swept in several days to a week and they haven't seen a mop in weeks to a month or more. When we got our food, they forgot two items on my friends order and they put sour cream on them, when they had requested no sour cream. They decided to eat them anyway because it took a while to get them. I took a bite of my taco pizza (smaller than I remember and thin), and it just didn't taste right. I ate almost half which was about 3 bites and decided to eat one of my tacos. I took a bite of the taco and it tasted like some kind of weird chemical. I took a second bite just to make sure and couldn't eat anymore. I asked my friend, without telling them that it tasted bad, to take a bite and tell me what they thought; they did and immediately spat it out and said that it tastes like bug spray. I couldn't eat anymore or even drink my drink because I worried about the cleanliness of the soda fountain. My friend couldn't believe that I ate what little I did, but I am one that can't stand to throw food away and will eat leftovers until it's gone. They convinced me to request a refund and I did . They refunded me the full amount of our bill, without hesitation or an apology. I will never go there again and I suggest that if you have only used the drive through, go in next time and take a good look around. I'm going to call their corporate office and let them know about...

So explain to me why I put in my order at 9:47 p.m. and it took almost an hour for it to be made. I understand that I had a big order but it was 19 things and shouldn't have taken that long. To add to the disappointment our order is completely wrong. I ordered 2 steak soft taco Supreme, 3 Beefy 5 layer Burritos, 2 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme which we didn't get, we received regular hard tacos, 2 steak quesadillas, we received 4 which 2 had Jalapeños on them that wasn't asked for, 2 Steak Crunchwrap Supremes that didn't have the hard shell in them, 2 Steak and Jalapeños Quesaritos that we also didn't receive, 1 Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes with extra Sour Cream that is cold, 2 Steak Gordita Crunchs and 2 Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch- Nacho Cheese that we also didn't receive. The total was literally $98.18 and the order was completely wrong and it took that long to complete. We literally live 5 minutes from this location. Not to mention they didn't even put any of the sauces in the bag.... Hell 2 of the Quesadillas one sections of it didn't have anything in...

I have no idea why the Jonesborough Taco Bell consistently serves food that is obviously NOT fresh, it's soggy, crunchy shells are always wet, stuck to the paper, and literally fall apart before you can even pick them up (they really need to be dumped into a bowl just to eat them, which is NOT what you are paying for or wanting! 🤢). We've given this location so many tries, only because they're the closest to us, and to support local businesses, but when you see food that looks like this (see pictures of the "Beef and cheese burrito"), it literally makes you lose your appetite! They should've paid US to eat it! You'll NEVER get anything at this location that looks even close to what you see in the advertisements!!! We spent almost $25 (for 3 people), and I don't think a dog would eat it!!! Either the owner/manager doesn't care about the quality of food they serve here (including "thrown together mush," stale hard shells, or wet, soggy, or broken/crumbled taco shells), or they need to train their employees better, or pay them to actually care about what they serve to...
