Walgreens — Local services in Jonesborough

We came to this location for our Moderna Covid boosters. The reason that I'm NOT giving a 5⭐ rating is because those that are giving any vaccinations, need to be trained that if it's an intramuscular injection, you NEVER pinch the skin up (which she did at least 3-4 times throughout the injection)! *It's common sense & knowledge (or should be to anyone giving injections), that the arm NEEDS to be completely relaxed (NOT tightened up in any way), in order to have little to no pain, post-injection! (The ONLY time that you pinch up the skin is for subcutaneous (under the skin) injections!)

Our arms felt beaten, stiff, and extremely sore for a good week!

Our first 2 (Moderna) doses were given correctly at the CVS on Market Street, and we never even felt it. Make sure that you ask that they NOT squeeze/pinch up your arm during your injection (otherwise, it'll feel like you've been beaten by a baseball bat at the location given...

09.24: stopped in for shots this morning - crew was even better than last time!! Thanking them for their care, proffesionalism, speed, kindness... they are amazing! Walgreens, you have great fortune to have this group working at your store! This pharmacy is just the best that my husband and I have dealt with. Two Pharmacists, Cindy & Stacey have kept me from taking wrong rx (due to my allergies to medicines & a Grnvl' TN ER dr giving me the wrong script). They provide information without showing that it is an imposition... The others that give us our shots, that only ring up our items - All are so helpful. & when a person is really sick - they advocate for you. THANK YOU to all at the Pharmacy Dept. But - the front store staff - Cosmetic area, Front Checkout, - Also so helpful, very nice people! Thank you, too! This is the ONLY store (Grocers included) that I don't mind having...

They lied to me when I called to say hey I will be there before you close and I knew I was cutting it close they said oh as long as you're in line at the drive-thru you will be okay so there I am behind the car at the window at 8:58 it pulls off I pull up and they shut the window on me anyway the worst thing about it is is they saw me there and they heard me yet they ignored me even when I told them I drove 30 minutes to get there and I had spoke to a girl on the phone saying I would be there at 8:58 because that is what my GPS said and that is exactly when I got there and she said it'll be okay as long as you're in line so either they don't know what they're talking about or they're liars and then when I approach them outside at 9:05 when they were leaving they were very rude I don't have anything good to say...
