I don't know where to begin. We waited in the drive-thru line for 1 hour and half. Yes, 1 hour and a half. It was Saturday night and my wife and kids love Popeyes chicken. Anyways, I ordered my food and we finally got to the window and it took forever to get our food. I asked if I could get something to drink while we were waiting and was told "NO", NO ADD ONS at this restaurant. I had 3 dollar Bill's in my hand and you think they would take it and ring it in later but nope. Ok, whatever. Finally, they hand us one big bag of food and we immediately started to check it right there at the window and found we were short a 9-piece tender. They could see us the whole time checking the bag. Then, I had to wait awhile for the guy to notice me and after a few minutes he did and I told him we were were short a tender and then this horrifying woman comes from the shadows and said nope you got all your food and she personally checked it and it was right and we were wrong. Then another lady who took my order said I didn't order tenders only bone in chicken and its all there. We tried to explain to them that I did order tenders and I know I did because that's the only way my kids will eat chicken. They basically closed the window in our face and were screaming at us. I know the line is long but they don't have to take it out on my family. Anyways, I pulled away and parked in an empty spot and my wife got out and walked up to the door to show and explain what was wrong with our order and she was met right at the door by who I think was the manager and she started screaming at my wife telling her she is wrong and she seen her eating food and the order was now tampered with. My wife tried in vain to explain that we paid and they owed us another 9-piece of chicken and the manager said no. I mean in all my 50 years of life have I ever witnessed a worker-manager that was so disrespectful to a honest customer. I mean, if they would took the time to look they would have noticed the 4 dipping sauces for the tenders on the bottom of the bag. So, basically they owe us a 9-piece tender with fries and a big sorry. If I owned this establishment I would fire that manger and I would be real worried about losing my business. This was the first time and last time I will ever visit this location. I will be following up with corporate. I would avoid this restaurant until they get some professional managers. Thanks for a horrifying experience in front of my kids and then I had to stop to KFC to get...
Read moreTonight's experiance made me update my rating and bring it on down to a 2 star. Food is still decent.
Let it be known that if they mess up your order that you are required to bring your whole meal back in as proof.
Tonight my family went there and ordered:
16 piece spicy tenders meal 2 red beans & rice 1 mac & cheese biscuts
10 piece spicy tenders 2 large fries Biscuits
1 large mashed potatoes
Due to being such a large order there was going to be a wait. No problem. They even offered us free drinks for the wait.
Once we got our food and got home, we notice that we were missing so items. the mashed, mac and 1of the orders of red beans & rice, my husband went back to the store to get this corrected, while I stayed home to start serving dinner.
He came back furious because they told him that he needed to bring the whole meal back to prove their error. We packed it all back up to head yet again back to the store.
Once there, they looked at us so confused as to why we just drove up to the window. took the bag and receipt from my husband and asked (not so politely mind you due to waiting, going home, unpacking the meal, going back to the store, to go back home, pack up the meal, to the store again) what he wanted.
He started telling them with apparent frustration and the guy cut him off and ended up walking away to go outside to smoke.
Another man came up. Much more polite. We told him we wanted a refund and tried to explain why we wanted one. Nice as he was, he didn't care nor want to listen. He asked where our meal was. We had to inform him that we already gave it to them he then basically just told us that he would correct it. AND GOT OUR FIX WRONG!
Once we had the right items (or so we hope since after all of this made us lose our appetite) my husband tried to thank him and apologize but the polite guy just closed the window and walked away from us.
We love the food and always order large amounts of food when we do but it will be a long time before we go back to this location.
UPDATE 1-6-20** The last 2 times we came in they messed up the order. This tends to be a norm here so make sure that you are checking you orders before leaving. Thankfully they corrected it unlike the time described above. Tonight the shift manager (Terry) was cursing at the counter about a phone call that had just came in. If it wasn't for the location and that the chicken is good I would quit wasting...
Read moreI ordered an 8-piece meal with a large side of cajun fries, and a strawberry cup dessert online. Besides the 20 minute wait time in line, when I got to the window, the woman first tried to give me someone else's order. When I told her it wasn't mine because I didn't order a drink, she closed the window. When she came back, she gave me my order and closed the window again without saying a word. I looked through the bag and saw no fries and no strawberry cup. I waited almost a minute before anyone came back to the window. A different woman opened the window who asked me if there was something wrong with the order. I said yes, there are no cajun fries and no strawberry cup. She closed the window again. A while later, she came back with the cajun fries. When I asked her about the strawberry cup, she abruptly told me that they don't have strawberry cups and they told the people to take it down. I asked for a strawberry cheesecake pie that was online and she told me they didn't have any and stopped carrying it 2 weeks ago. She said all they had for dessert was apple pie. After a discussion about the 2.46 that I paid for a dessert that they didn't have, I ultimately said I would take the apple pie, even though I don't like apple pie. She closed the window, and came back with an apple pie in a bag. Without a word, or an apology, she again abruptly closed the window without a word. So rude!!! I drove away. When I got home, I found 2 chicken breasts, thighs and 4 wings; no drumsticks. I was never told of the substitution! The biscuits...
