Crossroads Food Stop — Restaurant in Kansas City

I had an order from baked and toasted which was absolutely amazing. But I have to give props to the lady with colorful hair handling the front desk. She had multiple people come up for pick ups and spoke clear, concise directions. I see the review of the walk-in order complaining, and I have to say the walk-in had a terrible attitude from the get go.

She was treating it like fast food. Upset her order was 'going to take 30 minutes'. It was middle of lunch rush, the line was out the door. She was told three times why her order wasn't going to be there in the next five minutes. It was clear orders were up to their ears, and she snarked pretty hard about getting a refund and I don't blame the lady running the desk getting annoyed. Don't open up with negative energy and be surprised when it comes back at you. The retort her daughter fired out about attitude was surprising considering her mom was being very rude.

I will definitely return for more food at this location, but I noticed the other review and had to back up the lady up front who was dealing with a mountain of orders and everyone going up to ask the same question about checking...

I shouldn’t even give a 1 star because not only was the lady up front having an attitude with customers before us we had waited almost an hour we gave them 10 extra minutes after it said it would be ready then finally asked about our order and the lady with the Medusa piercing wanted to have a attitude and gave attitude when asked simple questions then when we had and finally asked for a refund because of the service she wanted to get mouthy with an elderly and then got mouthy with me when i told her to loose the attitude she told us to leave and we start driving and then got a text that our order is ready but we were told we we’re getting refunded so yes the food looks great but the customer service horrible they have time for friends and baby’s to go in the back and hangout they should probably get the workers in check or just shut down because it was a horrible experience my suggestion is to not to go!! to the lady up front will ling hair and piercings you should have more common decency and show respect to others especially your ELDERS AND CUSTOMERS cause with that ATTITUDE your not cute and makes the business...

First time to Crossroads Food Stop. Wasn't sure what to expect. It is a multi-kitchen take out place. Great variety and even options that appealed to my picky eaters. Not a place to eat, just pick up. A hub for online food delivery services, but anyone can order and pick up directly. We ordered onsite using the kiosk. It was very busy and I wondered how long it may take. Was very fast! Meal for four people from 3 different kitchens took about 15-20 min. on a Friday night.
