My HAIR is beautiful, and possibly the prettiest, most perfect buttery color melt of all time. I’m a hair stylist and newer to the KC area. It’s been a challenge to find a comparable stylist to the magic colorists I had in Los Angeles. Arden at Paisley + Stripe KC is exactly this. Her color and cut skills are major. Her soul is kind and her energy is calming. I kept my first appointment on what unfortunately happened to be one of the worst days of my life. I’d received terrible news and had been crying all night. She allowed me to just be, speak my thoughts and just exist peacefully. She is so incredibly talented, honored my requests and managed to achieve a color that is honestly pure gorgeousness. The compliments have been continuous. I’ve never had more strangers comment on my hair color prior to this. The cut is super cool, exactly what I wanted and is genuinely requires zero styling on my end. I feel like the ultimate 90’s DreamGirl thanks to this ideal salon experience. +++ The salon itself quite inspiring and located in a super cool neighborhood. The vibe is absolutely perfect and I felt transported to NY or Paris with the mega crystal chandelier and the prettiest pink sofa. 10/10...

Spent $270 just for my color to fade within one wash. I REPEATEDLY told my stylist that if she could not achieve what I wanted within the timeframe she had, that I was 100% ok with doing something different. She assured me time and time again that she had time and wanted to do the vivid color on me, but after realizing her other client was waiting so she didn’t allow the color to process long enough, hence why it washed out right away when I got home and washed my hair FOUR days later. I am not new to getting vivid colors in my hair so I only wash every four days and with cold water. I have never had a vivid color treatment wash out literally right away. Also, originally they charged me $200 and didn’t tell me until after I left that they would actually be charging my card for $270 because they added up the amount wrong while I was at the salon. I didn’t even get a haircut. I have been getting vivid colors done my whole life and this is by far the worst quality at the highest price I have ever paid for this service. I have gone to Paisley and Stripe for two years now to get my hair done as a birthday present for myself. This past experience was one where my hair didn't quite come out as I thought it would. After expressing my concerns, the salon coordinator called me directly and ensured they would make time in their schedule to ensure it looked exactly how I wanted it to. I currently live in Boston and was in town visiting family for my birthday, so my time was limited. I was extremely impressed with the customer service as well as the kindness shown to me throughout this process. Sofia was QUICK and compassionate in helping me find a solution and my stylist Maya was understanding of my time restraints during the follow up appointment.
