I ordered a hot chicken sandwich (punisher) w/ crazy fries and popcorn shrimp, tipped in advance and spent $25 for my meal. The chicken sandwich was good, though not as hot as I expected for being their second hottest style. It was about the size of a spicy chicken that you could get from a fast food joint like KFC, so not filling or worth the $13 I spent on it. Not the kind of heat or value I’d expect from a place called “Nashville Hot Chicken.” The crazy fries are fries with a little lettuce and sauce poured on them, not worth the $2 surcharge. Unfortunately I can’t review the popcorn shrimp because when I got home and opened everything, I realized they gave me jalapeño poppers instead. They were good, but cheaper than what I was charged for. Maybe that’s on me for expecting my order to be right and not check it… Now I’ll know to check my food before leaving. Also paid 50¢ for ranch and got a 2oz container that wasn’t even close to halfway full - that’s petty, but if I have to pay 50¢ for it at least give me enough to use. It did taste better than average ranch. Was hoping I’d get a text like, “how was your food” where I could have shared this directly, but I didn’t. Really wanted to love this place but they didn’t live up to their name on this...
Read moreI went to this place this evening because I saw it posted as a highly recommended restaurant on Facebook. WOW was that Facebook post wrong. First off, it’s not a restaurant..it’s a takeout establishment. You walk in and there’s 3 other people waiting in a 5x5 room for their food. Wasn’t ideal for a fun Saturday night out of the house, since we had to go back home to eat. Once we got home and opened our bag they didn’t label which sandwich was which. I can’t handle a lot of heat, but my boyfriend ordered the hottest heat they have there. It was fun taste testing each other sandwiches to see who’s meal was who. To which we never figured out…so obviously there is not a huge difference in their heats. Last but not least, the fries sucked. Skinny, limp, and soggy. 0/10 recommend going...
Read moreIm pregnant so ive ordered from here twice this week and the quality of the chicken is just out of this world! I get the “Mildly cyrus” i believe its called and its just enough to be warm but not spicy. I HATE coleslaw and I absolutely love it on this sandwich. The pickles are really good and crunchy as well! The mac was better last time the cheese is kind of gritty this time bit still edible and decent. Last time my fries were soggy and honestly probably a bit undercooked and this time they are hard and id imagine they had been sitting awhile because fresh is not what comes to mind. All together id say it’s definitely worth the stop in for the sandwiches alone there isnt another chicken sandwich that’s comparable to how good and juicy this one is! (I get the two...
