Hookah Sahara Sheesha Lounge — Restaurant in Kansas City

The bad: Larger place so my roommate and I had to wait a bit for the fellow to come give us a table. We asked to sit farther from the door and were told that area was for larger groups. We insisted and were told we would be asked to move if they neared capacity. Kind of rude. No less than 3 other sets of people came in that I watched have the same issue, but just sat elsewhere. The wicker furniture is covered in brown tape and the tables are held together with zip ties. The pads on the wicker chairs were all very dirty and noticably used... As in most had a very nice print from the last few years of use.

The good: hookah was brought out quickly and reasonably priced. For two people to get a starbuzz brand sheesha and a water and chai then split was 10 bucka even. The coals were nicely done and the sheesha was delicious. The chai was the best I have ever had and they added some nice touches to it and it came in a huge novelty mug. Staff was nice, atmosphere was beautiful. It seemed really popular for traditional smokers, as we were surrounded on all sides by nice and funny Arabian men and women, all speaking Arabic. Much of the staff does as well. Would be a great place for sports events with a giant projector and multiple tvs that didnt feel like overkill and yet were always viewable. Bathrooms were both incredibly clean, smelled nice, greatly decorated, and stocked. Also, I have never had to walk more than a block from a parking spot.

Gotta love it. The flavor selection is big. pre-mixed flavors will give you an idea on what to choose. you can mix your own flavors or even ask for suggestions. just describe what you feel like smoking. They have specialized hookahs for some flavors to maintain that particular flavor not mix and match. The smoothies just makes my mouth water thinking about it. The flavors enriched with what you order. I over heard a table next to me asking for honey and chocolate and some crazy stuff and they did it just to a good taste. The environment is just like a coffee shops in Egypt except the foreign language to Arabic to accommodate every customer. Don't let me forget to mention the boardgame shelf.
