I didn’t realize that if you cancel regardless of how soon before your appointment they will charge you a cancellation fee. I booked on Feb 19th for March 25th and cancelled on March 4th. That’s TWENTY ONE days notice and plenty of time to rebook the space. I was going to figure out a date that works better for my family because more members wanted to join (which would have been more money for you guys) and book at a later time but, I won’t be doing that now, as I feel like the cancellation fee guidelines are greedy and bad business. Maybe it would be better if you guys just say that there is a $55 non refundable deposit to book the Splatter Room and require the rest of the balance to be due on the reservation date. That way, it’s very clear to your customers that they will pay a minimum of $55 regardless. Maybe it’s my fault for not reading past the first line of the cancellation policy that said to “Please notify at least a week ahead of time for cancellations” but after reading that, I wouldn’t expect you to throw in there that there is a cancellation fee regardless of the time frame. Your policy should LEAD with that! I surely wasn’t expecting a cancellation fee 21 days out when you guys are only requesting a week notice. If you are only requesting a one week notice then obviously 21 days is plenty of time to recover the date. That’s where the greed comes in. I thought I was doing you guys a favor by canceling three weeks before required and bringing in additional people but nope. You’d rather have $55 than $600. This is truly a loss on your part. For you guys to lose out on a couple more hundred dollars in Splatter Room fees and milk shake purchases that would have easily been $150 at minimum is too bad on your part. I’m definitely not booking a new date. 0/10...
Read moreI'm so happy we found this gem for some family fun on our annual holiday staycation. We did the splatter studio with our 8 and 5 year old boys and we ALL had a blast! Seriously some of the best family fun we've had for awhile and we created some new core memories with our experience.
Shout out to the AMAZING staff member(I wish I could remember their name) that I think may have been the only one working that night. They helped us get started a little early, guided us through, and made some BOMB milkshakes. We exceeded our time due to having to dry our boys paintings(they had some thick spots of paint on their canvases), but the staff didn't make us feel rushed or were rude about it considering they had closed while we were drinking our milkshakes.
Again, totally reccomend this, was so much fun and have already reccomended it to family and friends. The boys want to go back to do the glow in the dark splatter room. Thanks again Creative...
Read moreI recently visited with a group on Sept. 30. The space was quite nice and there were many craft options. At the beginning there were two employees. That quickly went to ONLY one. The young girl left alone was AMAZING!!!! She was helping people with crafts, assisting people walking in, and making milkshakes for our group of thirty! She kept calm, remained polite, and smiled pleasantly. Our entire group was so impressed with her work ethic and friendliness. Of course her face was so grateful as we thanked her and offered well deserved tips. As our group talked after leaving we voiced how wonderful it was to see such a young person with true management skills. I am not sure if the owner realizes what a "gem" is employed in the store. This young lady really represents the business well. If you have the chance to visit maybe she'll be working to make your experience...
