I’ve not once, twice or three — but FOUR times been so disappointed by the service of the Jason’s Deli in Downtown Kansas City. Not only am I irate that I gave this location SO many tries and wasted so much time waiting for my order I’m extremely irate at the attitude and professionalism of their staff and leadership. When I put in an order at 11AM and choose pickup “ASAP” option - I expect at the very least that when I get to the location at 1135 that I’m able to pick up and leave. Unfortunately I’ve had to wait 20 minutes extra to get my order once I arrive. That’s almost an hour long to wait for ONE order. That’s happened to me every. single. time. Every time I was fooled to give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe they were behind or rushing other orders. But 4 different times with the same issue is completely wrong. Today I finally just got fed up and didn’t want to wait anymore and asked for my money back. The cashier was smug about me asking - grabbed a manager who said she was too busy and to ask someone else and when finally I had someone help get my money back - I didn’t get an apology or an explanation. He wouldn’t even look at me! Not to mention when I was getting a refund a lady who walked up and put in an order was called to get her food within 5-10 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE. Read moreThis place was AMAZING! It’s not often that you see such a perfect atmosphere. We didn’t know what we wanted and the cashier told us "No worries! Take your time!" We unfortunately didn’t get the name, but he was really nice! The food was great. Our waiter, Curtis, was such a kind person! Before we sat down at our booth he said "Oh hold on! Let me get that for you!" And he wiped it down! EVEN THE SEATS! The food came very quickly and the quality of it was great! The food smelled amazing and tasted very fresh. The veggies were perfect. Our waiter, once again, had great small talk. A lot of "how’s your day going? We’re so glad you’re here" type thing. He also encouraged us to get free icecream. Whenever my friend got her baked potato, which by the way was GIANT and well worth what you pay. It was like 2 meals for less than $10. He told us that there were to go containers if we needed them, and he was happy to help. When he spoke to us he always had a smile, which created such a great atmosphere. When I click the food I want aunt, I shouldn't have to add what is actually supposed to come on the order. I ordered a chicken poyo with nothing but sour cream. That's absurd to pay $10 for a potato and sour cream... the store should have called to verify I wanted that with in the least, no chicken.
It needs to be updated with everything that comes on the order automatically. And you can click to take off something that you don't want. Very frustrated I paid full price (over $30) for 2 meal items and one side with nothing that automatically comes on the food items! Come on Jason's Deli, I know you have better customer service!
As a side note: The driver was on time! But obviously didn't check the order that all the items ordered were there. 😒 ("I Don't know what is there and what isn't."
