Kansas City's Entertainment Hub

Over the past three years, the Power and Light District in Kansas City has become my go-to destination for incredible live entertainment. The lineup of performers I've had the pleasure of seeing here is truly impressive, featuring acts like DJ Pauly D, Third Eye Blind, Limp Bizkit, DJ Shaq, Taking Back Sunday, and Flogging Molly (or that other Irish band I often confuse them with and scream "Go back to Boston!" at either one). The diverse array of artists and genres cater to a wide range of music enthusiasts, making Power and Light an essential stop for live music lovers.

However, there's one aspect of the Power and Light District that I find somewhat disappointing: the early closure of their kitchen. It can be a real bummer when I'm whittling away from hunger after a night of enjoying great music, only to find that I can't grab a bite to eat. If the kitchen hours were extended, I would definitely be inclined to visit more often.

On a more positive note, the Power and Light District is also home to the Pizza Bar, which ranks among my top 3 pizza places in all of Kansas City. The scrumptious pies served at this establishment are the perfect way to satisfy your hunger while enjoying the electric atmosphere of the area.

In spite of the early kitchen closure, the Power and Light District remains a fantastic place to spend an evening. The quality and variety of live entertainment on offer make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable night out in Kansas City.

To sum it up, the Power and Light District in Kansas City is a vibrant and exciting entertainment hub that offers top-notch live music and excellent dining options. Despite the early kitchen closure, it remains a favorite destination for both locals and visitors alike. Whether you're in the mood for great pizza or an unforgettable live performance, you won't be disappointed at the Power and...

The Kansas City Power & Light District pulsates with an undeniable energy, a vibrant hub of entertainment and dining that truly comes alive, especially on weekends. During our visit, the air was thick with the lively strumming of live music, a fantastic soundtrack to the bustling atmosphere. The sheer variety of restaurants is a culinary adventure; from upscale steakhouses to casual eateries, there's something to satisfy every palate. The dessert shops, sprinkled throughout the district, offer sweet indulgences that are perfect for capping off an evening. The nightlife is a major draw, with bars and clubs radiating a contagious excitement. The district transforms into a kaleidoscope of lights and laughter, creating a memorable experience. However, a significant caveat looms: parking. Navigating the area by car proved to be a frustrating ordeal. Finding a spot was a challenge, and the real shock came upon exiting the garage. A mere 45 minutes translated to a staggering $50 parking fee, a hefty price to pay for such a short visit. This unexpected expense cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable evening. While the Power & Light District offers a fantastic array of dining, entertainment, and nightlife, potential visitors should be acutely aware of the parking situation. Consider alternative transportation options to avoid the exorbitant parking costs. The district's vibrancy is undeniable, but the parking issue demands...

Went to the Elton John show and the lines out the building were awful but that's to be expected. We went through the metal detectors fine but then did not know where we were supposed to show our tickets. So basically anybody could have walked in and tried to get into the concert. They could definitely reach the merchandise table. Finally right before we went up the stairs we found a lady that ask for our tickets. Otherwise our seats were good. There's never a bad seat in the place to sit honestly. I did feel like the drinks were overpriced more than usual. I got a 20 oz bottle of Sprite for $5 and if you wanted a bottle of water it was $5.50. wasn't sure why water cost more than a soda. We had a driver take us down to the concert and then pick us up so no issues with garages or parking. I did hear that there was a huge backup in the parking garages and parking lots. I'm not sure if the T-Mobile center owns the parking lots and parking...

Kansas City Power & Light District is a totally happening location in the heart of Kansas City. There are a variety of restaurants and bars to fit everyone's culinary desires. Kansas City Power & Light District has a lot going on day and night from music to sports to shopping to people watching or just catching up with old and new friends. This was my first trip to Kansas City Power & Light District, I flew over 2000 miles to get here and it will not be the last time. Great upscale resort hotels and night clubs playing music late into the night! Do yourself a favor and come on down to Kansas City Power & Light District. If you find my review helpful, please give me a thumbs-up 👍 Thank you!

Being from STL, it almost seems impossible for a downtown area in a major city to be clean, safe and packed chock-full of businesses in every large space and every nook and cranny. There is never any shortage of things to do in KC. If you want to bring your significant other for a weekend of eating and drinking until you can barely stand it, a weekend with the boys or girls and total shenanigans, or a super fun weekend with the kids...KC is a great place to consider. Great food, unbeatable atmosphere and plenty of well lit centrally located parking. That's unheard of! Great people watching, tons of arts & music...KC makes me jealous that we can't have nice things at home.

Lots of bars and shops security everywhere! Nicely placed crosswalks great outdoor concert venue called KC Live, piano bars, sports bars, and dance clubs, country bars high end techno bars rock&roll and R&B bars!lots of great food, I suggest Johnny's tavern there old school philly is great there beer selection is good also. If your visiting kc a must see night life area right down town! If your moving to KC One Light and Two Light are the best most luxurious buildings in the city Three Light breaks ground in March wiil be completed by may 2020! The shooting center is a great place to see a concert and is where the big twelve basketball tournament takes place very cool!
