I had a good experience here overall. I came after one of the snow days that we had here in the city, so business was very slow since not many people are going out. The cashier greeted me warmly, took my order quickly, however I was not given a receipt when paying with cash. My food was prepared very well and was hot and flavorful, when bringing my order out the cashier stated that one of my wings had fallen and the cook in the back was working on it immediately. while I dined, in the back kitchen there was inappropriate music playing loudly. personally I'm not bothered by it since I listen to a lot of explicit rap anyways, but for inviting customers into your restaurant it may bode pretty poorly. other than that, I had planned to give a lower star review since no one came out to the lobby to check on the few customers who were there or to clean. however I did notice that the manager, or at least what I thought was the manager, did come out with the cashier and explain to her that it's nice to talk to folks, make sure that you welcome them in when they walked in the the door, and many of the other things that I was going to take away points for. as it turns out, that woman was the owners sister, and she and I spoke quite a bit about the restaurant in my experience there. The only thing that I really can't justify is the cost for the price, which is why this isn't a five-star review. though there are a lot of other competing spots around town, and though I do understand that you will pay a high cost for high quality, it's just a little expensive to get 12 wings and a side of fries for $20. outside of that, the place was great and I will be back......

Bought 2 6piece wings one with fries and the other with a salad, a fountain drink and a Redds drink which is liquor my total came to $27.86. 1 for myself & 1 for my son. We ate there waited a long time for the food and when they brought it to us; I asked the server was this a joke ? He asked what was wrong; I said sooo what y’all do is take 3wings and cut em in half to make 6wings really ??? His response was they are organic chicken wings I laughed at him and said this has got to be a joke. Smfh. My son said “moma my wings are cold; the wing was COLD smh. Of course I stayed and ate cause I hadn’t eaten anything all day from a long day of work; so as were eating he brings me a another piece of chicken I guess as compensation. Long story short it’s a RIP OFF. I paid $27 for actually 3wings that were cut in half portrayed to be wings and they were COLD. NEVER AGAIN. I took pics of all the food from the experience as proof that I’m NOT LYING it’s a lady that works there and seen me taking pics of the food and asked did I wanna take a pic of the cold wings she took back to heat up I said this is enough...
Read moreThis spot has been remodeled but as soon as you walk in it doesn’t smell like a restaurant it smells like your rich auntie house the smell of plug ins was to over barring especially since I’m pregnant. The new setup is cute and simple but doesn’t give that rustic vibes like it did before everything was clean my favorite thing about this restaurant was the Mac and cheese they had to change the recipe when I got my Mac it had fresh shredded cheese and that was not melted that was not pleasant my toddler likes Mac so he enjoyed it until the last few bites. Not to mention when you walk in they got tv on the wall but not one of them have a menu so if they have a busy line you don’t know what to get until you get to the register where they have a piece of laminated paper of the menu that was a bit inconvenient. The bone-in wings was still the same which were good but the boneless was a bit hard to bite down also the house made ranch wasn’t the same either & I give it a 4/10 this is just a new outcome of the upgrade of the restaurant would I be back 9/10 probably not hopefully the northland wing cafe has something...
