If you’re looking for a truly standout all-you-can-eat sushi experience, Little Sakana is absolutely the place to go! I had such a great time here — from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
First, let’s talk about the most important part: the seafood. Every piece of fish we had tasted fresh, clean, and high quality. You could tell right away that they take pride in the ingredients they serve. The sashimi was buttery and smooth, the nigiri was perfectly portioned, and the specialty rolls were creative without being overly complicated or drowned in sauces. So many AYCE places sacrifice quality for quantity, but Little Sakana proves you can have both. It was refreshing to find a spot where everything actually tasted fresh — no odd textures, no questionable smells, just delicious, high-quality seafood.
The variety here was another major highlight. They offer an impressive range of choices — far beyond the usual basic rolls you find at many other AYCE sushi restaurants. From classic favorites to unique specialty rolls, plus a ton of appetizers and even some cooked dishes, there was something for every craving. It felt like a real dining experience, not just an endless parade of California rolls. Every time we thought we were done ordering, we’d spot something else we had to try!
On top of all that, the customer service was fantastic. The servers were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests were taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy when we visited, our food came out quickly, and the staff made sure we always had everything we needed. They were efficient without ever making us feel rushed, and they handled our many rounds of ordering with a smile. That kind of service really makes a huge difference, especially in an AYCE setting.
The overall vibe of Little Sakana was also great — casual, lively, and welcoming. It felt like the kind of place you could visit with friends, family, or even for a fun date night. The atmosphere matched the quality of the food and service perfectly.
Honestly, I can’t recommend Little Sakana enough. If you love sushi and appreciate fresh ingredients, lots of variety, and a friendly dining experience, this is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to coming back — there’s still so much more I...
Read moreFirst time going to an All you Can Eat Sushi place! Tried lots of new things and enjoyed every bite! The best dishes were anything with baked salmon on it for sure. So The Ninja or Volcano Baked Roll and Salmon Skin roll or H/R. All around though, from the Sashimi to the Nigiri, regular sushi down to their Baked or Deep Fried rolls, nothing we had tasted bad! Dinner time pricing yields some additional premium Sashimi as well. And appetizers. No bad ones what so ever, but definitely don’t want to fill up on them! I will say, do NOT order a lot at once as they charge a Leftover surcharge, so be prepared to eat anything you order! Furthermore, be prepared, because when July comes around, dine in will only be All you Can Eat, and takeout will only be A La Carte. No more either or for each.
Couple of reasons I gave it 4 stars. What looked to be a normal evening, took forever for us to even get our drink order taken (water and some soju) and secondly for them to come back way later to even get our first round ordered. Could have been the waitress, hence the service star hit. And secondly, the drink prices….. $14 for a bottle of Soju that you can get the exact same bottle for at $6 a bottle at Total Wine and More. An $8 markup! Never-mind if you were to order a cocktail pitcher. $50 for a cocktail pitcher that contains, and this was confirmed by the waitress unless she was mistaken, 1 bottle of the same small Soju. So by their prices, $14 for the alcoholic content, $36 in mixers (yogurt, fruit, club soda). I’m sorry, that’s absolutely insane of a price. You can go somewhere like OGen Korean BBQ, similar style setup with all you can eat meats, and get a mixed Soju 32oz Carafe for $18. So the $50 pitcher for their cocktails, which again, is just a bottle of soju and a bunch of mixers, just doesn’t make sense at that price. Maybe if they had like 2-3 bottles of soju in there it’d make more sense, but not at that price for 1 bottle and $36 for mixers.
Overall great experience though. From the food, to the atmosphere, to the price for the food and experience alone. Just expect to pay a pretty penny for a drink if you choose to drink during...

Arrived at noon on a Friday and there was plenty of parking and plenty of seating. I did notice that they have a QR code wait-list system.
Firstly, service here is incredibly fast. The servers use a mobile system to shoot orders to the kitchen. Our first nigiri showed up at the table as our second person was still putting orders in. We never waited longer than a few minutes for orders, so it's great for a work lunch. We did have some misses though - they dropped off an incorrect order once, and totally forgot the miso soup we ordered at the start of the meal.
The lunch menu includes everything except sashimi. I ordered several pieces of Nigiri and enjoyed the tuna pieces more. The Ponzu and Soy sauce variants basically mean you don't need to dip in any soy sauce. I would avoid the octopus and squid - the textures were quite slimy and stringy. Not a fan. The nigiri rice was also relatively loose sometimes, not firm enough to pick up without it falling apart.
Unfortunately, the speciality rolls fall a bit flat. Nearly every roll on the menu is either filled with imitation crab, avocado, or shrimp tempura. This leads to a mildly bland roll that sometimes gets overwhelmed by whatever sauce is on top. That's especially true for the baked rolls. I'll say that my coworker's favorite rolls were the Hurricane and the Tsunami, and mine was probably the VIP for the little citrus kick.
I also did one order of takoyaki, which came out steaming hot but nothing special. Lot of dough inside and little texture except for the crispiness, so I'd guess they were frozen before.
Towards the middle of our meal, several big parties came in and our service slowed down a bit, but still quite fast.
Overall, fast rolls that aren't really my cup of tea, but it's a reasonable price to scratch the sushi itch. (Lunch $29.50 after tax and tip). I will probably not return and prefer to pay a bit more for another spot nearby with better specialty...
