Read moreA Delightful First Visit to Manna Crepe for Eid al-Fitr
My mom and I decided to celebrate Eid al-Fitr by trying out Manna Crepe on Colonial Parkway for the first time, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet modern atmosphere set the stage for a great dining experience. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of both savory and sweet crepes, along with a tempting selection of drinks.
My mom ordered the #10 Philly Cheese Steak Crepe, and it was absolutely packed with flavor. The steak was tender and well-seasoned, the melted cheese added the perfect richness, and the crispy yet soft crepe wrapped it all together beautifully. She paired it with the Tropical Sunrise, a refreshing fruit-based drink that had just the right balance of sweetness and citrusy tang.
I went with the #4 Eight Turn Lox Crepe, and it was a fantastic choice! The smoked salmon was fresh, and the combination of cream cheese, capers, and red onions gave it that classic lox bagel taste but in a fun, handheld crepe format. To drink, I had the Okinawa Milk Tea, which was smooth, creamy, and had a great depth of flavor thanks to the roasted brown sugar notes.
Service was friendly and efficient, with staff members happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations. The restaurant was clean and inviting, with plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe that made it a great place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. Pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it well worth the visit.
If I had to nitpick, the only minor downside was the wait time, as each crepe is made fresh to order. But honestly, the quality and taste more than made up for it.
Overall, Manna Crepe exceeded our expectations, making for a memorable Eid celebration. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory, sweet, or a great drink, this place has something for everyone. We’ll...
Read moreI cannot find enough good words to share about this place. I need more stars. You need to trust this review and go try them because their crepes are on a whole different level then anything I've ever tried before.
My daughter and I came in earlier tonight to try them out and my daughter got the Matcha Stripe Truffles and added stracciatella gelato, and I got the Blueberry NY Cheesecake with no whipped yogurt (major points for being able to customize taking off the yogurt because I've never been able to learn to love yogurt). Let me preface my excitement about this place by saying this: I literally have not enjoyed any type of sweets or desserts since around October when I went on a pretty serious diet and sweets just stopped tasting as appetizing as they used to when I did have them. Today was the 1st day in 6 months that I had something sweet that I honestly enjoyed. And I mean enjoyed as in, practically inhaled the crepe, lol. My daughter did the same with hers too. The crepe itself is SO soft and just the right amount of sweet and the custard that they use in them is addictive. I can already tell I'll be craving another one soon because everything about it just went together so well. Eight Turn Crepe has now become both my daughter and I's favorite dessert spot, hands down. You will pay about $8-$9 for your crepe, but it is HUGE and delicious and perfect and absolutely worth every penny of that cost. And the people that were working there tonight when we went were so sweet and helped us with figuring out what we wanted since it was our 1st time there. Overall, I am super impressed with everything about this business and I can't wait to come back for...
