The Halal Guys — Restaurant in Katy

Worst chicken bowl i have ever had. We always love the new york halal guys, I think the name has to be change at this location. I dont expect 100% new york style but atleast something similar.

We order 2 chicken bowls one with and rice and another one with salad, they were very bad.

In the salad bowl, I barley see chicken sad to say that I have to spend $14 and got 80% of lettuce and not even 20% of meat. And the small amount meat is also not cooked well. On top of that they charge $1 for Jalapeño, we even padi that extra but u won't even imagine they hardly added those Jalapeño to the bowl. And now the worst part, we asked sauce, they were hesitant to add sauce and we asked for some extra sauce they ask us to buy.

This is worst experience and worst taste, I almost threw up as soon as I eat.

You guys have to check other places close by, they are decent and lesser price than you guys. The chicken is well cooked and good wuality, and for the lesser price than halal guys they also add...

Food: The food is superb. I tried almost everything on the menu and I must confess that I want more of their food; most especially, the spicy sauce with anything at this moment. Customer Service: One thing that I always look forward to is the people. I can avoid eating at a restaurant due to poor service but Halal guys won my heart as soon as I walked through their door. The servers were amazing and I watched as they gave each customer their undivided attention while serving me as well. Location: This is located in a very clean and nice area where one has easy access to everything; shopping mall and a great park for kids while enjoying a bite from Halal Guys. I ordered online/phone at 11:00am as soon as they opened because I had a big order for the office. I get to the restaurant at 12:10pm an hour after and they still haven’t even started working on it. The employee were busy making other orders and they didnt even notice if I was present there. No update, nothing I had to remind them I was standing there and reminded them about the order to which they said we are too busy right now.

I understand you are busy atleast let me know and stop acting like I am suddenly invisible.

I have been going to halal guys for years and have always used them for our office lunches.

Never again very disappointed.
