The Juicy Crab Katy — Restaurant in Katy

I was so excited to find this location open in Katy. Came in about a month ago and the food was amazing. Just came in tonight, and we had to wait at the door for almost 10 min to be seated. Finally the waiter came in and just pointed at a table saying “you can seat there”. Her name is Kame, she was very comfused about the order, we kept on repeating it to her over and over… my husband asked if they had any kind of sparkling water, she said no. (They did have topo chico at the bar). she had a very odd behavior. After waiting 38 minutes, she didn’t even bring out the drinks, we had to ask the guy waiter and he was so nice and tried to help. He asked him to verify the order and she had it wrong…. She was standing there with the guy, then proceeded to confront my husband about him looking upset (he never said a word, he just had a mad face). The guy waiter had to pull her away from our table because she was trying to keep on confronting him saying why are you so mad, why u have a mad face…. WOW. honestly that was crazy. I’m going to be honest, the portions here are so small compared to the portions at the original locations near Willowbrook. The crab legs are so thin and barely have any meat in it. They only give you like 5-7 shrimp, like the portions are verrrry small. It’s not worth the price. It’s very disappointing because I’ve visited to other location in Willowbrook so many times and the experience was 10xs better. I tried to give this spot a chance 2 times and each time they let me down. One time I went in there and there was a smell of roach spray in the entire spot, it was so pungent that my family and I tasted it in our food. I even asked the manager about the crab legs and he was nonchalant and informed me that he got them from a new vendor because they’re cheaper, which was very obvious by how thin the crab were. The food took two hours to arrive and the so called “manager”then accused my family of not paying for a meal when we were in a party and there were still people in our party who hadn’t paid yet and were waiting in line. We then came back inside after he yelled at us and told us that we needed to stay because of the meal that had not been paid for. After we came back my cousin then started to tell him that there were still people waiting to pay for there meals and that the other people in the party should leave because they already paid he cussed at us and we international guess who were here for a vacation.
