Apparently we made a mistake coming here after a high school football game. We are traveling three and a half hours and we had one other cheer team in front of us along with a family of five. The man (with the clear frame glasses, no name tag) taking our order knew we had a tax exempt number. We handed the tax exempt certification to him that he shoved it back at us saying “you read it to me!” The number is tiny so we started reading it out a little hesitant... that wasn’t fast enough for him so he continued to badger us over the number stating “Oh, you THINK you know that’s the number? Is this your first time?!” Well yeah it’s our first time having to read it out. Most places just take it and work with the form. He then started in on us letting us know that we need to call in next time we want to come in with “this many people this close to closing.” We were unaware it was that close to closing (we live in a different time zone) and the place was full. He was extremely rude saying “What, you don’t know the time?!” He also went on claiming that the hours are “on the door.” We understand that and aren’t complete idiots here but he could have told us they were closed before we had 8 people order. Tell us to leave before you let us order and then yell at us for choosing your establishment: This was an extremely disheartening and disappointing experience especially considering we have a 3.5 hour ahead of us. The only good part of the time we had here was that the other employees were kind to us. Otherwise, that guy was a completely rude, inconsiderate, and completely out of line with how he treated us. Next time we will take our business to a different restaurant and save ourselves from having an employee rip us up one side and down the other. I really don’t think Freddy would approve...
Read moreMy friend and I ordered drive thru around 10pm. we were the start of a small rush they had. we ordered 2 meals that were priced at 10.59 on the menu and opted for the add $2 to change the drink to a shake. somehow this made the total over $30. as we pulled up to get our food, the gal hastily handed us our food without saying a word, and slammed the window shut. i pulled forward and checked our meal and recipt. we had been charged for an extra fry and the rest of the recipt was full of corrections and made no sense. we went inside to get things corrected. both of the people were very rude, and prioritized everything else over us. the lady was unapologetic, treating us like we were a problem, and we received a refund of 3 dollars and some change. i asked for our shakes and was told "well you drove off before we could give them to you" (she was in the process of making our shakes as she said this, 10 - 15 minutes after we had ordered). . . all in all they were very rude, and acting far more busy than they really were (this was a 5 or 6 car rush). i likely will not return, as i dont want to pay my hard earned money to get something different than what i ordered, and get treated like my business is some sort of inconvenience to...
Read moreI've been meaning to try a Freddy's on one of my trips out west and finally did. The burgers are all double smash burgers, the flavor is delicious. The shoestring fries are just ok, we added cheese and there was a generous portion although they were barely warm. The ordering process was the most frustrating. I wanted a malt and kept getting offered a shake so that's what I got. The shake was good with real berries in it. I'm not a big fan of double portions and would have liked any burger option in a single. The menu isn't straightforward with options as I would have liked the shake/malt flavor options next to them, instead there is a weird1,2,3 option on the bottom that makes it look like only concrete mixer choices. I stared at that menu and couldn't find a way for 2 people to eat lunch for under $30. This is fast food with table service prices. There is no "value" option unless you want...
