I used to highly recommend this company to people. Until I got a used vehicle from them.
A little back story. I’ve purchased 8 vehicles from midway as a company. Some brand new, some used. I most likely won’t be back after my last experience detailed below.
I took my car in to trade it in to them, wanted something with 4x4 or AWD. I was referred to a dodge Durango. It was a little older and with more miles then I wanted, but it filled the check marks I was looking for. I paid for the vehicle in full. And went on my way. Well, three days later I had a inspection done by a third party, which lead to issues that could have resulted in a blown motor. I immediately have those issues resolved. And in the process of having them resolved I sent messages to the salesman who sold me the vehicle to only have them read but ignored. We will get more into that later….. the only thing I asked was to help pay for the repairs. As spending 17,000 on a used vehicle and having to put almost 2 grand into repairs less then 3 days after owning it, didn’t sit well with me.
Anyways that we will get into that later part, I reached out to the proper people, the managers, to help resolve this only to be ignored and brushed off to the side. So I got back ahold of the salesman. And told him unless this is resolved, I won’t ever be back nor will I recommend anyone to them. I was told that was blackmail. I’m leaving them no choice but to help. Shocker, it shouldn’t have been a choice in the first place. Your company should have helped with the repairs of the vehicle you just sold. Because of this experience, I can’t and I won’t recommend anyone to this dealership. And I won’t be back either. How can I trust a company who is willing to ignore complaints, because they already got...
Read moreFirst and last Vehicle I will ever buy from a Midway Dealership. Do not trust their Certified Midway Preowned promise. I found previous damage on my vehicle after I purchase the truck. They tried to blame me for the damage part. I had to go in and show the shop manager that is was an existing damaged part. Second, I had other items that should be part of the vehicle purchase. I actually had a Sales manger tell me over the phone that they are not responsible for providing all items that come with a new vehicle purchase when I was purchasing a Certified Midway Preowned vehicle. The major one was a user manual. May seem small, however you cannot program all the systems without one. So, again I had to take my time and energy to get the product I needed. Between the hassle of the damaged part and what the sales manager told me. I would not recommend Midway to anyone. I know they will come back and say, we fixed the part and apologies for the manual. It doesn't excuse the part where I had to do the work for them to get what was needed to make my truck safe and road worthy investment. The worst customer service after the sale I have...
Read moreRepaired my Jeep quickly, professionally, and politely. It was an excellent experience, except for the part about needing a repair, but that was not their fault. ... 1/29/22 Update Another excellent job by the service department at Midway Jeep. Nathan was patient and thorough when he explained the issues to me and walked me through my options. He knew the answers to all of my questions and explained them well without a hint of talking down to me for not already knowing those things.
Midway Jeep has treated me honestly and fairly in every transaction I have had with them. I recommended them to a friend who purchased a vehicle from them as well. They have gone out of their way to be kind to him as well.
I am a fan of shopping local. I highly recommend Midway to people in the Kearney area. I have bought big ticket items from other local companies and been disappointed they do not stand behind their product if something went wrong. At that point, why byy local? Midway provided a great example of how a business should treat their customers to earn the...
