Never heard of a Runza before. The Runza is a beef and seasoned cabbage hogie type sandwich which comes in several varieties. No cheese, cheese or mushroom. The flavor of the Runza reminded me of a white castle burger with cabbage added. I really enjoyed trying it out. We also got a bacon cheeseburger. The flavor of the burger remined me of a old carhop restaurant in my hometown. Took me back. It was yummy. Would get both again. The vanilla shake had a perfect flavor, but it was hard to drink at first because it was so thick. I really appreciated the "frings" (fries and onion rings mixed) as a side option because I have a hard time deciding which to get sometimes. The onion rings were salty and crunchy. Really good. Crinkle cut fries were good and crispy but needed salt IMO. Over all was really fun to try something new. Would go back.

Solid Midwest establishment! If you’ve never ate at a runza and you like fast food, don’t pass on this place. The runza are my favorite. Whether you get the mushroom Swiss, original, or American, you won’t be disappointed. I always get extra onions on mine. Also, FRINGS! Onion rings and fries, together forever ❤️❤️ always a treat when passing through here. This particular runza is the nicest one I’ve been to. Great facility.

We ate lunch and planned to take 18 frozen Runzas back to Kentucky and Tennessee with us, but they only had 14 in the freezer that were not frozen yet. We told them that was fine, that we would keep them in the cooler until we got home and freeze them then. They wrapped 4 more in a different color of paper and put them in the freezer to cool off while we ate! That was so thoughtful! I also LOVE that Runza has Fringles!!

Runza Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that reflects the heart of the Midwest. The staff is always courteous and quick to serve, creating a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back.

The highlight of the menu is, of course, the classic Runza sandwich. A delicious blend of seasoned ground beef, cabbage, and onions wrapped in fresh-baked bread – it’s truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you go for the original or one of the many tasty variations like the Swiss Mushroom or Cheddar Bacon, each bite is flavorful and satisfying. The ingredients are always fresh, and the bread is perfectly soft and golden.

Sides like the crinkle-cut fries and onion rings are crispy, hot, and well-seasoned, complementing the main dish perfectly. Their homemade ranch dressing is a must-try – creamy, flavorful, and the perfect dip for just about anything on the menu.

The menu also includes fresh salads, chicken sandwiches, and delicious desserts like warm cookies and shakes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, making it a great value.

Runza stands out not just for its unique food, but for its consistent quality and friendly service. Whether you’re a Nebraska native or a first-time visitor, this restaurant offers a memorable experience. If you’re looking for a hearty, satisfying meal served with a smile, Runza is the...

I had a poor experience tonight. There was a gal that was mopping the floor, The caution signs were up. My daughter was in the process of going to get a refill of her pop and fell on the wet floor. The gal that was mopping was told that my daughter fell and she responded by saying, that it shouldn't be that wet and then continued to mop the floor. A couple customers went and told the gentleman behind the counter, that my daughter fell and he never left his post. It wasn't until a few minutes later that the manager finally came out way after the fact. He told us that he was in the back and was not Aware of the situation. I then responded and pointed to the gal that was mopping that she knew about it and she responded by saying that she was going to finish mopping and then go tell him. My daughter is lucky that her butt is the only thing sore. After leaving runza she said that she did hit her head a little but it was not sore. I don't know what would have happened if she would have really hit her head hard. I think that there needs to some education on what to do if there is an incident. As far as I know there was no incident report nor were there any names taken. Very...

Runza is one of those regional fast food chains that you can only find in a specific state whilst roaming an interstate highway.

Recently, I tried Runza for the first time whilst driving home from the Eastern United States Coast and was met with one in Kearney off of Interstate 80.

I ordered the Classic Runza Sandwich with Cheese and the Runza-exclusive Frings, both of which were indeed delicious and also heavy in that of flavor. The service for this specific establishment was amazing, and the cashier knew what to specifically do when it came to the ordering process and delivering our takeout order to us.

The atmosphere of this said location is also rustic, yet also very modern. In terms of the worker atmosphere, workers here are nice, yet relatively direct in the process as well.

Overall, I will indeed return to Runza in the future and will for certain be recommending this establishment to those looking for amazing...
