Jersey's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kearney

I used to love this place and probably still do during the day. The late evening staff is horrible anymore. The last three times I have been in during later evening hours (9-12pm) the staff has been obnoxious and rude. I believe most of them are off shift but the point is the same. Screaming at customers when they walk in telling them that they are closing well ahead of closing time...I believe so they can all sit there and drink together or close early and go elsewhere together. I have been taking to people about this lately and several of them have experienced the same thing and have decided to not go back. This is a shame. Employees being drunk and harassing customers is deal breaker for me. I understand closing early with no people in the bar, but kicking people out or being so rude to force them to leave is bad business. I hope management gets a handle on this and cleans house. Having been a server in a previous life, I was extremely disappointed on the service that I received today. I waited for 5 minutes to be greeted & get a menu. The establishment was not really that busy, about 30 percent full I would guess. Placed my order, received food relatively quick. Good job. No server follow up until well over half my meal was gone. The server seemingly threw my ticket on the table. Paid, no thank you. The only reason that this gets a 2 is because the food came out quickly and was reasonably good.

It is sad in this day and time that a sports bar does not have its own personal website. I had to go to Facebook to see and learn about what is going on at Jersey's. And the menu was a photo copy that someone posted on Facebook. Lol It's no wonder your competition around town is blowing you away. Walking into the door for the first time is no longer the norm for first impressions. Your personal website is now your first impression. I am wondering how great the food and drinks are inside. I don't think I will be finding out any time soon. Get it together Jersey's or get out...
