Hear me out on this. It's almost like not only is your customer service extremely poor, and your food quality extremely poor. But it's so poor that Panera in Keizer has made sure, that no matter how you go about complaining. About $30 worth of food you purchased. They will make sure to treat all complaints as if you were out of line. And you are in the wrong. Don’t worry everyone you too can experience this. Just stop on by Panera in Keizer. And make sure if your soup is from the day before so watered down you question it. That not only will the manager tell you “For your reference, it’s not watered down, it’s from the day before” only AFTER you hear what she tells the other employee and call her out on it. But when you tell them you want a refund and ask when will the money be back on my card. She says it should be on there now, and you say it isn’t. She says “that’s not my problem” and walks away. No apologies not one ounce of respect. You wasted my money and my time. Then when you ask the employee what the name of that manager is. The employee tells you she can’t give that information out. Because why would the manager wear a nametag. And when you the customer has absolutely had enough. And decided to say that they are awful people. Faith tells you she will pray for you. You KNOW a place has the worst customer service imaginable when the manager does NOT wear a name tag and the employee CANNOT give you her name. As if they protect each other from the evils of customers. When they themselves are the SOLE reason customers would want a refund to begin with. When they themselves have sold you $30 dollars of old watered down soup in the drive through and hope you don’t drive back to complain. So listen if you want the full blown Karen experience as a customer given to you by an establishment. Not the usual way around. This is the place to go! This is for Faith the employee and the “no name” manager. People like you are the reason God doesn’t talk to us anymore. I have been praying for you both. And this world since there are people like...
Read moreNow, if you come here with any semblance of frequency, budget and value aren't a terribly high concern fortunately, and you already know why you like eating here, and you will still keep coming here and enjoying it. And that's perfectly understandable.
Me, as a relatively poor person who rides an old Walmart bike rustier than a junkyard car built in the wake of the first Bush administration, can only understand this place by the following that went through my mind when I first dined here:
"Expensive. Everything is expensive. I can buy a whole large pizza for the price of this tiny avocado and turkey sandwich and small bag of stale-hard chip. Is it really worth it over two Subway footlongs? Wow, there's like no turkey in this sandwich. Great, now I'm basically eating avocado toast. I now hate how much I actually like this."
The staff are nice, and they always have a smile and bit of pep in their step like Starbucks baristas on a slow day. And the atmosphere was homely and tranquil, like a rich friend's home where you take your shoes off before entering, and everyone dining here seemed genuinely happy and not in a hurry unlike most people you know. And the food wasn't bad. I was impressed with how they made a cold sandwich not taste like butt, a feat that I can only hope to accomplish at home with my WinCo brand sandwich ingredients.
But it's just not 12 dollars nice, or however much they charge for what's on their menu. It's just not justifiable for me, and maybe not for you either. But like Starbucks, I want it to be something I can justify every now and then, as a personal treat to myself, to know what being one economic class above me feels like for just one lunch break. Even then it's hard to justify, but I'll do it every once-in-a-blue-moon, to make sure I don't forget that feeling for some...
Read moreAs a former employee I would NOT recommend wasting your time or money with this place, and definitely DO NOT WORK HERE!! If produce has mold on it they tell us to just wash it off and us it anyways(this coming from the GM WHOS NAME IS ON THE STORE) they miss treat they’re employees and it is absolutely ridiculous, they do not give out breaks to anyone but themselves, I am 8 months pregnant and they wouldn’t even give me breaks! They would make me work 8-10 hour shifts without a single break multiple times and they’ve done that same thing to several other employees, they have “fresh cookies everyday” but really only the bakery has “fresh” cookies that were cooked at 9 o’clock every night drive thru gets the cookies from the day before. They do not care about sickness one bit, if you call out cause you’re sick they’ll ask if you have a fever and if you say no they’ll make you come to work or they’ll write you up. Several times there has been employees there with Covid, the gm (Ashley andrews) has had covid and still came in and bagged up to go orders along with plating dine in orders, two people who were MAKING food also had Covid! The dishes do not get cleaned properly they are briefly sprayed off and put in a “dish washer” half the time they still come out dirty CHECK YOUR SILVERWARE BEFORE YOU USE IT it’s most likely dirty. I quit this job and what does the GM(Ashley andrews) and the regular manager(Stephine eddings) do? They decide to write a fake report about me saying I was a no call no show and that I was fired! And when I confronted them all that happened was I got blocked. Since I started with this company in December they have lost over 50 employees! And it only keeps dropping This place is extremely unprofessional and disgusting I would not recommend eating or...
