I am beyond thrilled to have that happen as in this day and age, appreciation and attention to detail is severely lacking. I was contacted by the company and the manager of this location. I just want to preface that I love Cafe Yumm! And since reopening, I have been disappointed with their portion sizes. The price does not support what they are putting in their containers. We ordered two medium bowls (original and a hot n jazzy) with no meat. They were the amount of a small in a medium bowl. Cafe Yumm is my go to for quick easy vegan food. This location used to be my favorite. But lately there’s a new night manager and I’m finding the atmosphere really uncomfortable. Often times the music is loud and intrusive and many times contains questionable lyrics/content. The manager also tends to be loud and rambunctious with the rest of the staff. Between the music and the boisterous behavior of the employees, it’s really hard to enjoy a nice meal with a book or conversation with friends. Tonight was the last straw. After spending a good fifteen minutes talking loudly of a ski trip with an employee, the manager and another employee told a crude joke to a female employee and then teased her for her reaction. “Look she turned red!” And the manager told her “It’s just a joke!” This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior.
