Their reply HAS TO BE auto generated. Same thing I got via email. It wasn’t even an in store experience. No refund STILL. HELLO, do you guys seriously care?
I have gone here as long as they’ve been open and have frequented other locations without issue. Last month, I placed a curbside pickup order. Placed order online, paid and showed up for pick up. Called upon arrival and was told a particular desert was sold out. Was told we could choose a different one but the one we requested we were told was “more”. Um, okay. I guess it was “easier” to do a exact trade. I requested to get a refund for the desert. Easy right? I was told it was done. Our order was brought out and wrong. Only sandwiches so we had to go in to get the 2 bags of chips that were to go with it. Fine. No worries. Well, she never processed the refund for the desert. I sent a reply via the “how’s our service”. I received a prompt response from Sasha who told me to go to a link to provide a review. Done. I received a response that the issue would be discussed with staff. Okay great. What about the refund. The signature was, let us know if there’s anything else. So I wrote back. Nope, no refund, no response. Kept in touch with Sasha and it seemed this may be worked out. Upon asking which location, Kennesaw, all communication ceased. No refund, no response. Everyone and every establishment can have an off day and that is totally reasonable and it’s okay. What is not okay is to not...

Unfortunately this franchise was sold from the original franchisee to a new franchisee. COVID-19 was particularly hard on restaurants and unfortunately, this establishment no longer falls within the standard of acceptability in my opinion with regards to the uniform franchise offering circular that every franchisee should hold to.
I find that this location is frequently out of menu items. Today for example, there was no avocado. This could be due to a real shortage or possibly due to the price that avocados have suddenly sprung to. I don't know if this franchisee is really facing a hardship or if they're just trying to cut cost to make margins.
At this juncture I can no longer recommend that you visit this Newk's and instead recommend that you visit Jason's Deli or Panera right up the street.
In my latest photo you will see they had no complimentary toppings on the fixings bar. All they had were free samples of cake - certainly this does not fall within the uniform qualities of an executed franchise agreement.
Original review from two years ago: Fast, attentive service, always delicious!...
Read moreWent on Wednesday at lunch time to get the pick 3 for $12.99. I had the shrimp po boy, newks favorite salad, and the lobster and shrimp bisque. I asked if all that came for $12.99... was told it did. Quite a surprise when Bill had up-charges for all 3! False advertising? The soup and salad were excellent tasting and very fresh. But the shrimp po boy...nothing like the description: "Shrimp Po'Boy. $13.29 • 680 Cals. Seasoned shrimp, olive oil, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and red onions, with a side of cocktail sauce. " On a toasted bun. Shrimp were poached, not de-veined, and definitely not seasoned, and no pickles ( I could have added from the pickle bar i guess)... the pictures taken in Newks promo will show the shrimp were thoroughly cooked on a flat top, de- veined, seasoned & pickled if anyone goes to look. The bread was not toasted. And there was not any flavor. Complete whiff on the...
