The atmosphere here is cozy enough, but stepping into the pub feels like stepping into your grandmother's home. The aesthetic is outdated with a certain charm to it, but there's not a whole lot of life to find inside. The staff isn't very attentive and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes to even get a menu...only for our waiter to tell us that they didn't have most of the items we were trying to order.
We ordered our food and we're told it'd take 15 to 20 minutes. Half an hour later, our waiter comes out to tell me we'll be doing even more waiting as they messed my order up and had to remake it. I was comped for it, thankfully.
Our waiter was friendly and tried to have a good sense of humor about all the misfortune surrounding my order, but having to wait around for so long to get some service and then having to wait a full hour for the food is absolutely ridiculous. The Bartender didn't know any drinks I or my date asked for finally settled for a Lemon Drop shot ( he put in an oz of lemon juice and a dab of sugar on the side no alchol) and I asked for a slow gin fizz. Strong drink but was made wrong. My date said I'm wouldn't pay for this shot it has no booze in it. I didn't even know what the charge would have been. The Bartender became highly irate and said since we had refused to pay for our drinks those were now his drinks and he wanted us to leave or he would have us thrown out by the Police. We were both flabber gas'd and talked about what had just happened and he proceeded to call the Police. Throwing his arms up in the air a little for theatric's. So not wanting to be further embarresed we left the Bar. I have over one million food views on Google and I will let this speak...

Each came with a massive amount of potatoes on the side, seriously like at least 3 lbs of fries. They were also a bit done. BLT looked a bit sad but my kid didn't mind. The beer battered cod tasted like neither beer not cod, but oil and batter. Overall I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but I also didn't expect much for 12 bucks. Was going to rate 3 stars but upgraded to 4 because they did give us our curds free...
