Bubba's Place — Restaurant in Kent

I came to Bubbas after work on a Tuesday evening. I was drawn to Bubbas by the bright lights and welcoming aesthetic of the signage. When I arrived, I got to the bar and ordered a glass of wine. The Basket ball game was playing, some hockey and football on the screens. I saw a few pool tables, and some good old music was playing. That’s another thing that drew me in was a slight sound of Rock Music coming through the speakers as I approached Bubbas. The bartender served my Red Wine and asked if I wanted the Tuesday $11 steak and potato meal. I obliged, and was happily served a nice medium rare steak, a baked potato, and it even came with a salad. First impressions are everything, and Bubbas set the bar. Literally 🙏🏾 I also had the honor of meeting the owner, who is one of the most Humble, Kind, Wise and Down to Earth Businesswomen I’ve ever met. I’d recommend Bubbas to any hard working Blue Collar Washingtonian, Old or New to the state. Very diverse bar for Blue Collar, Hard Working Family Men and Women in Kent Washington. I came to the establishment 3 times already, each time I showed my ID and they accepted it without any problems. On the 4th day they also asked for the ID, which I provided them, and to which they told me that it was invalid, the owner said the same, although this is not true and I showed them this on the Internet and tried to calmly explain, to which they began to be rude, boorish, talk to someone other than me on the phone, throw a tantrum. Thus, even the owner himself does not know what kind of mess is going on in his establishment. They were afraid to give me their names for this review, so I will simply describe them - two old women with curly hair, a waitress with dark hair and the owner with light hair, I do not recommend anyone to even approach this terrible shabby eatery especially during...

This is a really great little place. Tiny but it packs a big punch. Not a huge menu but shockingly affordable very well prepared a lot of it fresh not frozen!! Video games Dart boards, pool tables.

The ONLY "critique" I have more of a suggestion when it's financially feasible.

The back parking lot desperately needs much better lighting. There's no lighting back there at all except for the faint on the building itself. Perhaps consider getting a very bright spotlight to shine towards the parking lot. I would not feel comfortable walking by myself after dark.

Secondary, the pavement really needs to be redone. Walking through there in the dark I almost tripped more than once.
