Ā Ā Ā Read moreBefore Starbucks moved to their new location, I loved it. Granted, it did not have a drive through at the old location, it was still worth the walk inside. Drinks we're almost always made perfectly, the baristas were knowledgeable and kind, and knew how to make my usual that either me or my husband ordered EVERY DAY. Fast forward to the new location.. I still go often. My drink is not difficult. I order a triple venti white mocha, stirred. I have received maybe 3 drinks that were made correctly since their move. Every time I order, my drink tastes like hot milk with a hint of flavor. I've been asked multiple times if I would like an extra shot (a "triple venti" has an extra shot) so I'm not sure if they've even been adding the extra shot I've been paying for. I initially thought my palate changed post partum, so I never complained about it, but my husband who is a former barista ordered a simple peppermint mocha, and he said it was watered down and barely had flavor, aside from the taste of burnt espresso shots. Today, I ordered my usual, and before I could get it out of my mouth I was asked if I wanted something for breakfast. I ordered a cheese danish with my coffee. My order was repeated back to my twice, so I knew it was read right. At the window I was handed a grande. I said "I ordered a venti" and the woman said "well I charged you for a grande, I'm sorry." And that was that. I'm not one to request my drink be remade so I was going to try to suffer through it, but it was disgusting. When I went back to have them fix it, they tried to charge me $6.14. I said no, and asked them to just give Kenny correct drink, and after an eye roll I received a 3/4 full watered down white mocha that didn't have a hint of espresso taste. I won't be returning to Starbucks in Kernersville because for $6.14 for my usual coffee I shouldn't be receiving watered down coffee. All of the original employees are gone now, and that was their biggest mistake. There is clearly no training anymore. If they would focus more on making the drinks and actually listening to the orders, rather than trying to up-sale the customer foods and snacks, perhaps it wouldn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually go to this Starbucks as itās close to my house. I usually have a great experience here. People are friendly and my order is correct. However, this morning I went to this Starbucks and as I was ordering, the lady taking my order wasnāt very kind. I ordered three drinks and three sandwiches. First two orders were the same drink and she only put 1 drink on the screen (didnāt realize this until after the order was complete, driving to the window but I was clear that I said 2 ). The other drink I had to repeat myself for what I wanted in the drink. All the correct ingredients were on the screen. When I came up to the window, I asked her if she got the second of the first two drinks. I understand thereās miscommunications or people canāt hear clearly when ordering. Thatās totally fine. But she rudely argued that I didnāt order two drinks but she could add the second drink if I wanted. I said yes. I paid. She brought out the first two drinks and the sandwiches. Each time she did, she either didnāt say anything or she said āhereā very coldly. She had a irritated look on her face and it felt like I was inconveniencing her. When I received the last drink, it didnāt have half the ingredients I ordered as it didnāt even have it on the sticker and it wasnāt filled up all the way, and it wasnāt the size that I ordered. When I told her it wasnāt what I ordered and asked for the correct ingredients and size, she took the drink and returned with a new one in less than a minute with the same sized drink and no sticker and didnāt say anything. It still wasnāt what I ordered but left anyways. Throughout this whole interaction, this woman was rude. There were no apologies or a kind farewell when handing me my order. I understand, people have off days, especially when working food or retail. I work retail. But thereās no reason to be rude when the customer is trying to be pleasant to them, even when theyāve...
