The main reason for this review is the customer service was horrible. Our waitress was Joanne, red hair mid 40's(ish). She was terribly snappy and rude from the moment we walked in. I have dietary restrictions due to medical needs and she acted like I was a nuisance. When I asked if I can ask the chef if he can change something simple, she said, "If you do not speak Spanish no, and he can't be bothered anyway!" I was completely taken back by that response, this is one of the most rude waitresses I have encountered in my life. I am pregnant and if I accidently have gluten, I will likely end up in the hospital due to celiac disease, and gluten mistakes for celiacs is known to cause a miscarriage.
The food was just ok, not worth what we paid, but I bet the chef could have come up with an amazing dish if the waitress would have just let me talk to him or had the patience to ask someone to translate, but she really ruined...

Stopped here for dinner after a long day in the mountains. We were promptly seated outdoors on the patio by the very helpful staff.
We ordered an appetizer as well as entrees. Everything was fantastic. I haven't had much Peruvian food before so I didn't really know what to expect. I was blown away by how unique and delicious the offerings were. Both the presentation and flavors were fantastic! The staff provided great input on how the different sauces provided with my meal paired well with different parts of the dish, leading to a delicious experience. One note, beware of the hot sauce if you don't like spicy things. We love spice and this was delicious, but definitely on the hot side of things!
I will definitely be visiting again when I'm back...
Read moreWe each chose a glass of wine to start. I had cannela, a delightful bubbly, and my dinner partner had a Spanish white wine. We started with Causa Classico with shrimp. It was divine and such a beautiful presentation. Then we shared Jelea and Tallarin Saltado. The seafood in the Jelea was perfectly fried, not oily at all. The Tallarin Saltado with chicken was so tasty we loved it. Finally we ended our dinner with rice pudding , exactly as we remembered from our family. Our server explained the dishes which we were unfamiliar with and guided us perfectly through the menu. Overall it was such a lovely experience that we can't...
