Casino Bar — Restaurant in Ketchum

Obviously this place is getting a lot of local love! There is no way that this place should be rated 4.6. we walked in here on 4/26/19. We sat at the small buddy bar just feet from the actual bar. 10 minutes go by, no one even acknowledged us. Now I know why the several other bars we visited said that the Casino was the local dive bar. It certainly lived up to its reputation! Two bartenders, only about 10 patrons. These bartenders were to busy watching the NFL draft to lift a finger to help a customer. Yet they catered to they're buddy's sitting at the bar! Sun Valley is a service orientated resort town. This place doesn't even come close to the 4.6 rating that it has. It's really too bad I have to give it a one star!!! Enter at your one risk! Service is absolutely terrible!!! A true dive and I mean that in the best possible way. Make sure you ask for Kent and you’ll probably get a shot of Red Bull vodka. It was such a wonderful place we went back 3 days in a row. They serve food however drinks their true art. It’s like if a world famous sculptor painted a picture. The painting would turn out fine and it’s still art, but it would always pail when compared to the artist’s sculptures.

Side note, we may have seen a murderer there. Not an actual murder. But the one who would be capable of committing the crime. If any bodies turn up in the Sawtooth NF reach out to me for a description of the fella.

Not usually one to post a review about a place, but I saw all of the comments about the bartenders being rude and judgmental and I can confirm they are VERY true. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a bar. The bartender took our ID’s and started showing them to other customers at the bar and then proceeded to tell us that our ID’s were fake.
